Also read through some older comments. The idea about the machine costing like a dollar to play and possible hacking it to bypass the cost, sounds pretty awesome.
Thank you for the information about the tiles, I will look into it.
Also I believe "Daddy Dirkie dirks tiles" has some arcade machines.
Sometimes Zomboid is a bit finnicky where you have to click to actually get the tile.
Also for Pinball, you must click on the front tile.
I will test it tonight just to be sure, thank you for the report.
2) Money + power usage will be in the next update.
If I can suggest two thing :
- use of money to play
- dedicated animation while playing
What I did learn is the structure of Zomboid functions, you can find it here:
https://projectzomboid.com/modding/index.html
Also I am not a coder in life, so I looked up a lot of examples in other mods, and asked questions in PZ Modding Community (it's in the mod description at the bottom). Have fun and don't be afraid to experimet.
I was given an idea to add a sandbox option to use Money on arcade machines, I will look into implementing it in future updates.
I do plan to implement power requirement (and make it optional) + make them emit light, but I haven't got around to it yet.
2) As the description says, "- Playing produces sound, and sound atttracts zombies (similar to breaking bushes/objects in terms of distance)."
I am focusing on making bug-free mods that raise my knowledge of coding, so eventually I will come back to it, @BibleCampVictim
