no you should not have to do that, but a few people cant use this addon as their game is bugged i have the bug too so it dont work for me

no you need to enable it by using the command, read the addon description

yes you can just use normal binding console command
bind "key" "always_voice_chat"

oooooh i didnt know that. actually thanks for the addon, the +voicerecord command is really worser than i thought.

and it dont just simply do "+voicerecord" it uses a hook the game has to ask for permission per server before it can be used

with this addon it keeps it on always, so it will turn this on automatically every time you join a server.

or you can just write +voicerecord when joining the server
