ACOD - Asteroid Collision Detection

Alright. I just saw this on the mod spotlight today, and figured a script only version would be nice. Within the script you can explain the player needs a camera, a timer or three, or whatever else thats required by this script. :P That way we can build our own in our own shape and all.

I assume its using the camera to detect an asteroid far greater than the range of a sensor?

@Vas DLC is only for esthetic reasons. Script only version is a good idea but it will require some modification. Maybe I will make it but I first need t figure out how to do it because realistically cant make scripts at the moment. I only know how to modify simple stuff in exsiting ones.

Wait, why does this say it requires DLC? Oh its a blueprint not a mod.

Perhaps you could provide a script version, and explain what the player needs as part of their script to make it function?

hmm, that is odd how it worked for me but does not work for you. Can you explain in detail your attempt of building and attaching it?

Still can't attach. Is this a small grid because I need a large version for a large ship.

@Target I belive you have encourted a hinge attach bug. If you build a hinge and grind hinge part, it seems the game doesn´t recognize the part is deattached. You have to build the hinge, deattach hinge part and then grind it. After that the "attach" button in hinge terminal will work. Also recompile the script after you are finished building ACOD. Programable block won´t fetch blocks it needs for operation if it is build and fetching blocks are not build (camera and timer). Recompiling fetches blocks again.

This is exactly what I need to prevent The Incident from reocurring but I can't attach it to my ship. How does it fix onto another grid? It won't snap to a hinge.
