Cant load mods anymore after installing this. I've uninstalled the game 3 times, deleted all the files in the game folder, reverted to b41 and back to b42 and none of my mods will even show up anymore. I followed the new installation and uninstall guides and my mods are just missing now.

If you are not getting npcs spawning, you haven't installed the mod correctly. Read the installation guide. If the issue persists, report it in the Discord with logs. I'm not seeing this issue, so I don't understand how you expect me to fix it.

If you are getting stuttering, freezes, and crashes after a while of playing, increase the amount of available RAM to the game. The default memory settings doesn't work with this mod. This is described in the installation guide.

Aside from that, 42.11.0 is worse overall in terms of optimizations. It has nothing to do with the mod per se. I have tried to alleviate this by optimizing the parts that are causing issues, but at the end of the day, this is an issue for Indie Stone to fix.
We can no longer edit the number of NPCs in the world in the sandbox settings?

Weird. Looks like I installed in correct, but it's just giving me this black screen on loading. It doesn't seem like a crash or it's frozen, and in fact I think it's the screen where you populate the history/population of Knox County. There even seems like there's a clickable button in the bottom right corner like it used to be before this new installation method took place.

Sometimes npcs freeze over a dead zombie body and they do nothing. They also beam arround the area like ghosts.

I did everything right and it work fine. However after 20min running game, it become very lag even sometimes crushed the game.

Any plans to make them not have infinite ammo? And able to use the select fire rate insted of semi? And possible hunger and water monitoring system? Cause I swore they had to eat a few updates ago but now it seems they don’t

how to stop npc from fighting? there used to be a button, but now it's gone and they continue to fight until they get eaten.

Well I feel like an idiot, but also, kinda feel like I experienced some kind of magic. I just tried to install it again, on my CURRENT IN PROGRESS run, instead of a new game, and it worked. Maybe something about my other mods (like Week One) and a new game was blocking the simulations setup UI. Not sure, but I'm so happy that I can see whats up with this mod now!

Same issue as Hunter, I think. When I add the KnoxEventExpanded.jar to the json as indicated on the Installation discussion, errors are thrown on the Main Menu, and starting a New Game results in a completely black screen. Maybe I'm just repeatedly spawning somewhere without light, but I don't think that's the case since I can't even see any UI. I re-tried the installation process 5 times before tapping out. If anyone has advice, please lmk.

For now I'll have to play without this mod.

I was able to get it working with some help in the discord. The best way is to copy the path of the KnoxEventExpanded exe file you can find in the mod folder of it and put this in the json file. The weird thing is it worked even that it is not in the line.

As Epsilon said, range for firearms needs addressing.

Playing with sprinters, and NPCs end up working better with melee than guns as they just end up waiting for the zeds to be atop of them before even loading and firing their guns :/ Typically resulting in their death

The latest update doesnt allow me to have the flee it used to be on the bottom left corner of the screen but its no longer there after the update.

@comanderkiller3pro3 Read the roadmap in the description. Looks like they are redeveloping the robbing mechanic into a new system. As for the 92MHz I assume they are changing that as I believe True Music also uses the same 92MHz frequency(this is a complete guess haha)

I tried out the fix for the lag, but unfortunately it got rid of all the npcs.
I made a mistake during installation.
This performance mod also makes changes to the pz64.JSON, so I thought I'd let others know just in case

If the game doesn't start when you try to use the Married trait, it's because you haven't installed the mod correctly. Likewise, if you open the the map and find that it makes the game throw tons of errors, the mod installation is also incorrect.

If you are having issues with stuttering or freezes, you likely need to increase the amount of available RAM. There are instructions for how to do this at the bottom of the installation guide under "Configuration".

@Branded Swordsman; you installed it wrong. I know you installed it wrong because once while updating I made the same mistake and the map was blank. So I went back did it correctly that time and the map was fine.

@LordVukodlak, good enough in my opinion and if you have the bandits creator mod added too you can choose and create new bandit factions of who you want to be friendly or not.

@Branded Swordsman: So I've done a little testing for how these mods interact and from what I've found. The NPC's from Week One or Bandits will ignore the NPC's from this mod. Their AI does not seem to recognize them. However the AI of the NPC's from this mod will recognize the Bandits/Week One NPC's as zombies. and kill them
