hi Bedoop. Suika's vfx are sprites with a whole lot of alpha values across the pixels, in full range from 1 to 255. I've cut them from a sprite sheet with a black background by using GIMP's Color to Alpha tool with transparency threshold 0 and opacity threshold 1, which replaced everything black with the appropriate level of transparency. That provided me with pixels which always have at least R, G or B at full 255 and then increasing alpha values for the originally darker pixels.

update 1.1.0 has been released, with a rundown to be found in the change log. This update is enormous in scope, so many changes (particularly to her knockback values) are relatively experimental. Very fun, thoughtfully designed around the size-increase ability with the big range and slow startup!
