So. I subscribed to the mod but it entirely borked engines, engines that used to work no longer start and the shafts don't show up in inventory?
Can you make a part that allows power transmission through a rotating part? Maybe even a T-piece where the center can rotate. Can you also fix the shaft connectors? Great mod.

Great job on the mod, however it would have been perfect if you added twisting shafts (compact velocity pivots that transfer rpm)

I have a question: What are the connector shafts intended to be used for? In my head, I can't think of a situation where one might use them, so I'm curious what purpose you hand in mind for them when you added them.

is there a way you could make solid beams that are connected like this. it would make it so much easier to make solid axle suspension. it would also be nice to have a springy beam so you could make even crazier suspension

Love this mod, but the connectors don't seem to work. They connect but don't transfer rps.

Tempus loop, а фиг знает. Анимаций точно не будет, так как есть ощущение что это в принципе невозможно. А про дальнейшую разработку - есть планы сделать средние валы (3х3 блока) но когда это будет, и будет ли вообще - пока неизвестно.

Great mod, but it would be cool to have a single block version of the shaft pivot, if thats even possible. Also, maybe an enclosed version of the shaft angle gear pieces that are modeled after a differential from a car or truck.

Hey, I found a bug in the mod. When using 2 small shaft pivots with a connector in between, the second pivot will no longer transfer RPS. As of now I am able to work around it by just making one complete shaft. Thanks!

I once asked in the discord if driveshafts (and PTO) would be a cool addition in the game, someone basicaly told me to go fuck myself, but the fact you made this makes my day way better!

Flowchris, I tried to make a connector (with power transmission), but it didn't work out. I spent several days on it and got no result. As I understand it, the current modding capabilities in the game do not allow you to add anything fundamentally new, only to create elements similar to those already existing in the game. For the same reasons, it is impossible (IMHO) to add a rotation animation for the shafts or to make the gimbal work in two planes simultaneously.

Good Start, still difficult to use effectively. Some recommendations:
Small Shaft pivots need to be 1x1x1, this also mothballs the half-enclosed version.
Small Shaft pivot needs a 2 degrees of freedom version (bends both ways)
Small shaft angles (the bevel gears) need to have a pivot integrated into one of the sides to allow the whole part to rotate freely.

I understand it those would be extremely difficult, and stretch goals at minimum. My apologies.

More tangibly:
Needs controllable Small Shaft Pivot, 1x3x1, so I don't have to use the vanilla 1x1x3 that also has fluid integrated into it when I don't need it to be.

dude this is so cool but i was wondering if you colud be able to make a handheld version of this like a tractor PTO that you could conect and transfer rotational power from one thing to other thing and beeing able to remove it like the hose or the electrical cable

One thing I think is necessary is the addition of something equivalent to the small robotic with power travelling straight through that allows the axel to roll in a compact form factor.

This is... kinda useless. You cant even use the pivoted shaft for its intended purpose because you cant build at angles. It completely relies mag alls and similar. The only thing this could be used for a propeller that flies around like one of those tube men you see at car dealer ships. (if you've never seen those look them up they're funny) A better version of this would just include some 1x2, 1x3, and 1x4 curve pipes. Plus it would be more useful because then they can transport liquids and gasses.

Im sorry to say, but this mod is worthless in terms of functionally, though it does work as an appearance enhancer and also adds a standard pivot that transports rps.

You did what the devs should've put in this game long ago, UNIVERSAL JOINTS AND TELESCOPIC SHAFTS. These will be incredibly useful for shay-making.
