But EU5 is coming out and EU4 doesn't have the modding capabilities I want.

I *might* abandon this, but likely not.

I definetly will return to this when EU4 becomes free like CK2

Could you tell me how does byz's government change from Imperium to Autokratoria as well as the titles of the rulers? I really want to know how and where its located in the folders, since I want to change the titles to my liking

EU5 will most likely be a completely different game like Vic 3 vs Vic2, and people would still continue to play EU4 for another 25 years. From what I've read, too much is changed in EU5 to consider it a straight upgrade, it's just a different game with some overlap. So now if anything is the best time to mod EU IV because no major updates will come now and no need to split time between developing a mod and updating it for compatibility with new patches. Not to mention that EU5 already is very demanding for hardware, and modding it further would make it really hard for most people to run it.

Will you fix the ownership of provinces?
For example germany owns a part of france in the modern day and the islands in the caribbean are all messed up.
There are probaly a lot more but you get the point.
Apart from that the mod has me intrigued. Would be cool if you would work on it :)

Yes! Eu5 won't come anytime soon and when it comes - it will come broken like most of Paradox games without DLCs.
What countries and dates are the most recommended to play right now? Most of dates have countries with missing cores on their own lands @VersionZero

i edited the defines to reduce cooldown on exploiting development to help. makes me feel a little like hitler throwing out thousands of people. for example war... add cores... add states.. go to each provience and exploit.. weird enough if its a seacoast you can exploit diplo but inland you can so if a seacast provience had 25/32/27 i would take it to 5/5/5 i that same one was inland i take it to 5/32/5 lol. still takes 50 years to culture that size diplo. but atleast its workable. i went to war with AUE(hapsburg) and had 6 stacks of 40 against their country 1/4 my size they had 1 stack of 400k lol. computer is so stupid puts all their military basically into one arm and loses manpower fast so you can win in the long game of war. still getting random crashes coming from prov id: 14467

but I should of stated.. I do love this mod. One of the things im really hoping for the future of the EU franchise in general is more of a growth mechanic based off city/province size rather than admin/dip/mil growth. that would be so awsome. you have a war you lose some pop if attacked and you gain based off prosperity otherwise someone can turn the smallest province to the size of Paris easily as I have seen in any mods AI factions do especially some of those african factions. ran across one that had 50 admin on the regular extended timeline mod so crazy!

i havent been able to play the mod for a while due to a death in the family. but couple of things kinda minor.... 1. sometimes when i saw construct national moument and select it, it doesnt start the constructions but disappears.. anyway to recosile? 2. started a napoleon scenario and had to cheat to change government as the french empire didnt allow an heir... 3. i went to fight prussia and quit the game.. they fielded 600k troops.. everyone of their provinces are like 25/25/25 (admin/dip/mil) so computer is either overusing their points or something happening lol

Looking forward to this getting into the VERY ancient days like the New Kingdom era of Egypt. i would love to play them successfully resisting all outsider invasions from the get go instead of being a break away roman sector.
