I haven't switched back to B41 since B42 came out (and won't) so I couldn't say. That's super weird though because they are entirely different items.

I keep switching between B41 to play with a friend and B42 for my single player run and I swear all my screws keep getting replaced by springs, or I could just be going mad
Either way is that a possibility?

Lethal stealth mod was doing it with bolt action rifles for me, the m24 in particular, the dev fixed it. It was being caused by playing two animations at the same time. Maybe if it's that mod it needs updating again. If not, whatever other mod is doing it needs updating.

Haven't been able to replicate that one so far. They work just fine for me.

There was no error message. I've tried ak105 and honey badger with 7.62 and 5.56 rounds, they both acted that way, one shot but 2 bullets were removed from the mag.

Also you gave me almost no information. Which rifle(s)? There's quite a few. Are you getting error messages on the bottom right? Did you install new mods recently that affect guns?

Now rifles shoot 2 bullets with one shot, haven't tested other guns yet.

I thought you might have had a hidden "ha ha, just kidding mate" flag or something in there. :D Did I look through the spawn tables? Yes. Did I see everything should have been in order and it should spawn? Yes. I have tried one through debug, it's fun as heck but honestly I'm really preferring the remington m24 and any of the 556 assault rifles the most right now. Would have just been fun to "normally" find old painless.

I've had issues with it as well. When I enter 20.0 for its spawn chance in debug mode and teleport to the checkpoint, I'll find half a dozen of 'em easy. Then I enter 20.0 and play normally and don't find a single one.
No idea what's happening with that. :D It's set up exactly the same as the suppressor spawn rates are, and those work. If you can't find it, just spawn one in along with a couple of box mags. I promise I won't tell anyone.

Should be perfectly safe because both versions import same scripts, models etc. If you want to be extra careful, backup your save first - and then switch versions. :)

Great mod! One question. You said you can only use one mod version. What about if I'm mid save with the original version and want to "swap" to the new version. Would there be any issues?

New Gun and Hotfix dropped!

-Fixed some lua translation entries.
-Fixed gun lights working forever.
-Expanded version: Added the AAC Honey Badger. An integrally suppressed 5.56 select-fire assault rifle. Why? Because I wanted to. :) The Honey Badger mostly spawns in gunstores, but can also be found on bandit/survivalist zombies and a few other places.

Great mod, but the supressors look kinda wonkey? Because it looks like they are attached to a rifle, so a 9mm supressor for a pistol floats in the air a good distance in front of the barrel. Other than that, love the mod.

Hey if you unequip your weapon with the gun light already turned on you get an infinite torch that works with any weapon equipped

It is safe to remove, but you will lose everything new that rain added. And vanilla guns will revert to, well, vanilla

i understand that but i just dont think its realistic for them to be strewn out everywhere. the main reason i dont like them isnt because i dont like drum mags in the game, i think its a good idea, i just dont like how they are integrated having seperate guns (which you convert between) to use them which sort of breaks the immersion i guess

it would be nice if the base version didnt include drum mags, only the expanded version having them since i would consider drum mags unrealistic for kentucky back then (just my opinion)

I'll try a sandbox option of 0 on the next update, but last time I tried it - it didn't want to work. Maybe B42 is a bit more stable, we'll see.

Definitely my favorite gun mod! The only thing I don’t like is that I can’t turn off suppressors if I want to. The mod lets you choose a spawn rate of 0.001 which is the lowest setting but it doesn’t seem to work. I have all the spawns set to 0.001 and I still find plenty of them. I was wanting them to be super rare because the suppressors are very overpowered. Also I love all the changes to the ammo boxes and stuff that’s a really nice touch. Thanks for a fun mod.

That's freaking fantastic! Filibuster is a legend and I'll definitely check his stuff out too. :) Interesting stuff about the changeable parts, and his models look great too (no surprise there).
Here's hoping B42 gets more and more gun modders (I'm looking at you Arsenal[26]). :D

If 0.01 is too high for you, you can do one of two things.

1: Ignore the stuff that does hit that 0.01 roll out of 100.
2: Use another gun mod.

As soon as i subscribe to this mod, is it added in to my game? or do i need to add it in via the in game menu? also, if i have already checked out the riverside police station, will new guns spawn in, or is it only for places that i have not yet been to? Cheers for the mod! cant wait ^_^

Oh second one was prob a waste of your time was just asking if you modified map at all I doubt it. But thought I would ask. I have a modified that changed the north Louisville police station without saying so and the loot is jacked up inside can’t figure it out hah nothing to do with you

That's the whole problem with .38, it just doesn't have viable guns I could throw in for it, except for other small revolvers which would be redundant. .22 would at least have lots of variety. Also if I do overwrite the .38, obviously the base snub nose would just become a .22 revolver which would be as quiet or even quieter than the vanilla snub nose.

I didn't understand your follow-up though. Maybe verify your game files and try again? Maybe B42 is being unstable?
