Just remember, there is no cheating in single player games. You can play the original or play with MODS. The same is your enjoyment, and to make you happy. Nobody cares if you play a game by yourself the way you want to play it. If you are not interested in the mod community then by all means, do not load a mod, but making demands of a mod made by someone for free on their own time to enhance the game play is probably not the right way to go about this posting.

Using this mod is already cheating. It's a pretty disingenuous claim to say its only cheating when this mod permits the player to improve the quality of items for free as opposed the very introduction of the mod to introduce a repair option that's not even in the game.

You don't seem to understand the meaning of filters.
As mentioned in the comments below, if you want to exclude items with 100% repaired HP, you'll be happy if you set it to 99% or less.

there is a problem. if the item repair filter is set to 0-100%, then the character repairs the same item without spending resources and leveling up the skill. The quality of an item changes after repair depending on the character's skill, so sooner or later the character turns the item into flawless after a few repairs without wasting a resource. This is cheating. Fix it so that the character does not repair items that have already been repaired, or does not change the quality of the item.

if you have the repair same item non stop - set the Hitpoints in repair to 99% - that way when it repairs to 100% it will not choose to repair again

If you keep repairing the same item, it's probably because the item isn't of a quality higher than the setting.

I love this mod.
But my colon is repairing the same item again and again when I choose multiple repair.

As answered in the comments below, due to the game system it is not possible to add items to this repair product.
Also, the reason for the decrease in quality is that the resident's sewing skill is low. As the skill increases, the quality will increase.

If the same problem occurs when using the equipment dismantling filter, then it is probably not a problem with this mod.
Did you set the filter incorrectly? For example, if you want to dismantle and repair items that are below 90% or below fine quality, you'll need to set up separate queues for items below 90% and items below fine quality.

The main issue I have with this mod is item will most certainly lose its quality. You can repair superior item into fine one. So the %'s to propduce the item seems to be the same as to create item.

I would rather have item to be repaired with a cost of half of the material to create item, but item retains it's quality.

So if you craft Superior ot Flawless item you can keep it and repair it for a fraction of price later. Otherwise its just a gamble. Yes, you don't spend resources but as I said it's way more logical and preferable to have item keep its quality but for a price.

Well, I think this mod requires a bit of guidance, and yet it still fails a bit (to me)
But I recommend playing with the filters.
I'll tell you how I have configured it:
Manage all villagers to dress/arm with X, but drop it when it is damaged below 60%.
Repair all items of X quality, when they are below 99%.
Destroy all bad quality items.
This in principle, will generate that your villagers do not destroy good items, and do not repair them forever.
Unfortunately, very often, the system will eliminate/repair items ignoring the quality/percentage filters. :steamsad:

Love this idea but too often the quality is improved too drastically, making all future item acquisition irrelevant. Would like to see it scaled back and also require raw material input so that gathering and looting is still rewarding. Thanks for making this mod though!

not sure if this is intended or not, but my settlers are repairing the same items over and over again. They drop an item off, *repair* it, then it drops next to the workbench...and they go pick it up and do it again. This happens over and over again until they decide to do something else.
