That's alright, I can wait like usual. I remediated the issue by just using the base game's team colors instead.

@Pauligon

I’ll look into it when I have time but unfortunately I’m really busy atm with personal stuff
Pauligon 20 Oct @ 4:16am
I just want to change the color of the default flags, like changing Eagle's blue flag to orange, for example.
Pauligon 17 Oct @ 8:41pm
@MianReplicate

Trying to color the flags doesn't work when I run a match (the console doesn't even say anything about the command). Putting the flag names without commands still works.

@Pauligon
Just to be clear, what is *not* working? Is it trying to color them but they aren't being colored? Or are the flags not being added into the game?
Pauligon 17 Oct @ 8:13pm
@MianReplicate

The main thing I'm trying to do is recoloring the default flags. I tried inputting "{FLAGCOLOR:0,0,0}" on "Eagle Flag(s)", but that did not work when I ran a test match. So, I decided to test something and put "{FLAGCOLOR:AUSTRIA:0,0,0}" (I'm using Galahad's remade WW1 flags mutator ) in the same area instead, but that did not work either.

Ah, ok
MianReplicate  [author] 17 Oct @ 4:32pm
@Hot Wet Nobel Laureates

If the vehicles use flags, they should automatically get replaced if you have the option turned on.

If they aren't getting replaced, they aren't supported.
Hot Wet Nobel Laureates 17 Oct @ 2:32pm
I think I'm missing something. How do you get the custom flags to appear on vehicles?
MianReplicate  [author] 17 Oct @ 10:27am
@Pauligon
Please send me the exact command you are trying to use. Commands work fine for me, and there’s no reason they should stop working suddenly in the newest build.
Pauligon 17 Oct @ 6:41am
Flag commands don't work in the most recent version of the game (EA32 Security Patch). Yes, I've read the instructions on GitHub and typed the outputs correctly.
Bubbiboor 28 Sep @ 3:07am
i love that notification that you get when you try loading flag viewer without the framework :mortis:

what if it uses only 1 flag al the time? (i added around 2-3 for each team)
MianReplicate  [author] 8 Sep @ 10:00pm
Fixed the mod I believe
MianReplicate  [author] 8 Sep @ 9:08pm
@Omen It has bugs still unfortunately that I can't fix atm.
Omen 8 Sep @ 8:58am
it's fixed? yay!
MianReplicate  [author] 6 Sep @ 10:57pm
@fourgrass okay idk what happened but reexporting it fixed the issue. There are no more bugs :)
MianReplicate  [author] 6 Sep @ 10:29pm
The map disables the framework for some reason when you load into it.

I am not aware of why this happens nor do I know how to fix it.
fourgrass 6 Sep @ 10:12pm
emm.....I enabled this framework and flagpacks,but flagviewer still say "dumbass",and no flagpack was shown in viewer.this problem does not exist in ea31
MianReplicate  [author] 5 Sep @ 11:25pm
Unfortunately for now, you'd have to get it by the developer of the flag pack. Most flag packs do put the names of their flags in their descriptions, so if you are lucky enough, you'll be able to get it there.

You could also use "{ALL:{ALLMUTATORS:Flags}}" for one team, and grab the flag names in the console when you load a map with your flag packs enabled as the framework prints out the name of each flag it uses for each team.
FactuObj 5 Sep @ 8:31pm
So how do we get the names of the flags?
MianReplicate  [author] 5 Sep @ 5:31pm
So the mod works fine from my understanding, but the map is for some reason not working 🤔
MianReplicate  [author] 5 Sep @ 5:19pm
I'll look into fixing the major problems it has for the latest version of Ravenfield.

I can't fix the glowing soldier bug for now as I don't know the direct issue for that.
Omen 5 Sep @ 10:44am
unfortunate that it's broken, aside from that it's quite simple & easy to use in previous versions!
MianReplicate  [author] 9 Aug @ 11:49am
Unfortunately, I do not think I will be able to fix it for a while. My summer break is over and so school has started for me again.

However, if a scripter/coder is willing to submit a PR request (aka help fix my bug for me) then I'd be willing to accept it and put it into the addon. The source code is public on GitHub and is the link is in the description.
PhantomBravo 8 Aug @ 8:48pm
Any luck fixing the glowing soldier bug?
zwitzerland 31 Jul @ 5:20pm
nvm
zwitzerland 31 Jul @ 5:07pm
how am I supposed to copy the output
MianReplicate  [author] 15 Jul @ 4:45pm
The newest beta version of the game appears to prevent the mutator from being enabled when you join the map. I am looking into this currently.
Kars_Pillarman 14 Jul @ 8:38am
why it tells me "u didnt enable custom flag framework dumbass :/" but it says enabled in mods section
PhantomBravo 9 Jul @ 3:59pm
Sounds good.
MianReplicate  [author] 9 Jul @ 12:30am
I was able to recreate the bug! I haven't gotten to fixing it yet though sorry. I will let you know once I've pushed a fix. It will hopefully be sometime this month if I can find the motivation to open up Unity Editor and all :P
PhantomBravo 8 Jul @ 6:58pm
Did you ever manage to recreate or resolve the bug that I mentioned?
MianReplicate  [author] 1 Jul @ 6:17pm
I'll take a look when I can.
FactuObj 1 Jul @ 7:26am
seems like the framework flag select map does not work in Beta Branch
PhantomBravo 26 Jun @ 8:50pm
Ok, thanks.
MianReplicate  [author] 26 Jun @ 8:43pm
The only time I modify actors on spawn is by using Ravenfield's built in code to add accessories onto an actor, which is the same code used by other addons to add accessories to an actor. For example, "Microtransacation simulator".

But.. but! After further inspection to the code, there is a piece of code that runs when the driver for a vehicle changes which is intended to change the material of the vehicle to fit the driver's assigned flag. The logic in this code might also unintentionally change the material of the actor. I have to do some additional testing myself to ensure this is the case, and if it is, I will report with a bug fix for it.
PhantomBravo 26 Jun @ 8:38pm
I can confirm that it is not due to another mod. I played on a vanilla config with default everything and only enabled the Custom Flags, and I observed both glowing and darkened soldiers. I played on Night Mode (did not enable the Day/Night Cycle mod.
Although you mention not modifying actors upon vehicle entry/exit, do actors become modified upon spawning or at some other time? If so, could you add an option to disable this to try and see if that solves the issue?
MianReplicate  [author] 26 Jun @ 6:22pm
I don't think the issue is related to this mod because I do not mess with actors in any way when they enter or leave a vehicle. Could you play with only this mod enabled and play vanilla everything else? That includes weapons and skins.
PhantomBravo 26 Jun @ 2:04pm
Here are examples of what I'm referring to (in both cases).
https://pasteboard.co/WjdUJeM9fcT2.png
https://pasteboard.co/RAPwuHS1antz.png

This was observed with the Day/Night cycle mod enabled BTW, and I am certain that the issue is occurring due to this mod.
PhantomBravo 26 Jun @ 2:04pm
I've found a visual bug, in which bots that enter a vehicle (and then exit the vehicle at some point) will no longer glow under night vision. Normally, viewing an actor under NV should have them appear to be glowing white hot.
When ragdolled they will begin glowing again as normal but once they stand back up they lose the glow once more, and this may even persist through death and respawn, as I've noticed increasing amounts of bots losing their glow as a battle progresses on a map with vehicles.
Corpses, however, do keep on glowing since they probably count as ragdolls or something.
I've also encountered a similar visual bug in which the opposite occurs; an actor appears to be glowing in the dark even under normal vision, as if they are emitting light, while under night vision they appear as they normally would. I think this may also be caused by the act of entering/leaving vehicles.
MianReplicate  [author] 19 Jun @ 3:40pm
It doesn't work for color indicators but there is a similar feature that replaces all flags on vehicles with the flag of the bot driving it.
PhantomBravo 19 Jun @ 2:08pm
Is there a feature to apply a flag texture to a vehicle (so that the color indicator on a vehicle is replaced instead by the flag of whatever bot is driving it)?
Whaddafrak 3 Jun @ 8:06pm
so many kids are going to use this for edgy stuff </3
MianReplicate  [author] 26 May @ 6:47pm
This addon is a framework for flag packs. It does not add any flags on its own.
bobcoceo 26 May @ 12:56pm
could u add historical flags plsss
vina 24 May @ 8:58pm
Oh cool, it's very helpful for countries who doesn't have their own skin on workshop!
MianReplicate  [author] 24 May @ 8:56pm
Yep! That's exactly what accessories are. They let you apply flags to your characters.
vina 24 May @ 9:25am
What does acessories do? Also can you put a flag on the character's arm?
