The mod will work with RT56 insofar as it adds icons for tank chassis techs that exist in both vanilla and RT56 (i.e. post-'45 techs added by RT56 will generally not interact with this mod in any way)

@Saya Takao it's not off the table, but don't expect it anytime soon. I've had a France mod about 90% done for a while but I've just been quite busy.

@墙壁走资修正主义 Haven't bothered to check specifically but I know World Ablaze modifies the tech trees. I guarantee no compatibility but you're free to check for yourself. If they use the same internal equipment IDs for tanks and use the same Equipment Designer, then the mod will work.

It's not especially complicated. Basically you would need to look at the file gfx\interface\equipmentdesigner\graphic_db\zz_GERTIE_tank_icons.txt, find the block that defines tank icons for Germany defined as GER = { ... }, duplicate it, and then change the GER tag to whatever tag you're trying to add the icons to.

For the tank chassis, it's a little more involved, but you basically follow the same principle.

It's unlikely that I will venture into doing plane icons. I'm not much of an air force guy. My knowledge of planes is far worse than my knowledge of tanks, and so I would have to do a lot of new research to get things right, and there are other projects I would prefer to spend my time on.

Shouldn't be a problem. I've been meaning to add this mod to a number of the vanilla/mod puppet/splinter tags and the like. No promises on when, though.

Anyway, while I'm here, I'll address a few common questions:
1) Yes, it is Kaiserreich-compatible, as well as compatible with Furherreich, and pretty much any mod that uses the same tech tree for armor and the same Germany tag.
2) I've got something in the works for minor countries that involves making icons available to all countries. I'm just working on making sure it's extra-special. Stay tuned.

@Endsieg there are multiple mods for a few different Majors, IE, USA and USSR.

it would be great if it was in all countries.
