@Garbaty Aniol Niestety mod nie jest w ogóle kompatybilny z Lhiver 1.6. Wszystkie dodane zbroje nie zapewniają graczowi ochrony przed ostrzami, gdy są używane konkretnie z Lhiver 1.6. Pierwotnie planowałem dodać pełną kompatybilność z Lhiver 1.6, ale jak dotąd nie znalazłem rozwiązania tego problemu. Technicznie rzecz biorąc, można załadować mod z Lhiver 1.6, ale nowe zbroje będą miały 0 ochrony przed ostrzami.

@Miksu Nie planuję dodawać więcej do tego modu, chyba że będzie to konieczne, ponieważ w pewnym momencie mod stałby się zbyt rozbudowany. Będę nadal naprawiać błędy i poprawiać kompatybilność, jeśli zajdzie taka potrzeba. Planuję jednak stworzyć więcej modów tego typu, z różnymi rodzajami zbroi, a nawet broni.

Szczerze mówiąc, nie mam pomysłów na nowe szaty dla magów, ponieważ rzadko gram w Gothic postacią maga. Jestem jednak otwarty na sugestie, jeśli macie coś, co Waszym zdaniem pasowałoby do gry.

@RiseOne Przetestowałem mod tylko z najnowszą wersją Nostalgic Edition i sądziłem, że problem występuje we wszystkich wersjach. Zaktualizuję opis, aby zaznaczyć, że starsze wersje Nostalgic Edition są kompatybilne.

Bardzo fajny modzik, dodaje miłej różnorodności, bez psucia balansu. Z ciekawości, planujesz dalej rozwijać addon? Fajnie byłoby zobaczyć więcej szat dla magów ;)

W opisie napisałeś, że mod nie jest kompatibylny z Nostalgic Edition. Wiadomo, czemu są niekompatybilne? Bo rzeczywiście, z najnowszą wersją nie działa, ale za to z wersją 2.1.7 już działa.

@Michał Tak, mój mod nie zastępuje żadnych oryginalnych zbroi z Gothic 2. Wszystkie zbroje z podstawowej wersji gry pozostają, mój mod dodaje jedynie nowe.

@Bamioum Since update 3.0 compatibility with Lhiver was added among other things. Now you can enjoy all features of ArmorExpansion to their full potential even while using Lhiver :)

@Bamioum I looked at the issue and confirmed it. An update is being worked on to fix this issue, and also better balance stats for LHiver and other mods when they are detected.

The upgrades from Bennet and at least the stewark armor seems to be incompatible with the Artstuff version of l'hiver(based on 1.3 i think) they ask for Steel Billets which have been replaced with Steel ingots in at least this version so you never get the option to upgrade after the first conversation with bennet about it.

@Riross49 Sure, it will be a little complicated though if you are a beginner. You need to open the vdf file with the "VDFS tool" program, navigate to NINJA\ARMOREXPANSION\CONTENT\LOCALIZATION and extract the "GUESSLOCALIZATION.D" file somewhere on your computer. Inside the file change "return Patch_AE_Lang_FR;" to "return Patch_AE_Lang_EN;" and import it back to NINJA\ARMOREXPANSION\CONTENT\LOCALIZATION (the folder which you extracted it from). Let it overwrite the original file and dont forget to save the changes in VDFS tool (Ctrl + S). I tested this method on a french version of the game myself and it works so if you follow my steps correctly it will work for you as well. I will also change the default language to english rather than czech in the upcoming update so thank you for bringing this to my attention.

Hi, i wonder i can modify ArmorExpansion.vdf for force localization to english (my game is in french and i dont speak Czech which is (i think) the language use by default when the game is not EN / DE / PL can you help me which that pls ?

I read the comments on the Ninja steam page, unfortunately this is something out of my control. I am not involved in the development of Ninja in any way, outside of one oversight that i reported as feedback. I only made this mod and mud-freak helped with some code in it. I guess you should follow advice from mud-freak and follow the page for news about the situation. If you want to try playing with an older version of Ninja from Github then my mod should work with any version newer than 2.9.1

The problem is quite new. For more details you should read the comments on Nnja mod site on steam. Long story short a lot of antiviral software as well as windows defender reported Ninja mod as trojan malware. Now the Ninja mod can't even be download. Adding the mod as an exception in antivirus did not help either.

I have never heard about Ninja being flagged as a virus or trojan from anybody yet. I have used Ninja for years now, if it were malicious I wouldn't make a mod utilizing it, not to mention I spoke to the creator of it. Are you sure you downloaded it from an official source? (Link: https://github.com/szapp/Ninja /The steam link in the requirements section is correct as well). If the problem persist can you describe which antiviral software considers it malicious?

Great mod but its require Ninja which is detect now as a Trojan virus by a lot of antiviral software.

@Vic.Dac11 Yes, you need to have it blessed before arriving to Irdorath. For the dialogue to make sense Milten needs to be in the monastery to be able to bless the armor, it is intentionally not possible to have the armor blessed in chapter 6.

Uhm I tried to bless my repaired paladin with Milten in chapter 6 but it isn't working. Is it already too late to bless the paladin armor?

@henioo Thank you for the feedback. The condition for the dialogue where Wolf gives you the armor checks if the player has light mercenary armor but doesnt remove it from the players inventory, letting you start it again and again. I will fix it in the upcoming update, thank you for bringing it to my attention. As for the Ancient Claymore - it is not from this mod, its from the mod "Preservers Gear" made by Vladmihail, my mod does not add any new weapons into the game.

Great mod. Adds a lot to replay value.

There is a glitch. Wolf will give you a new armour every time you ask him for one.

Is the Ancient Claymore from this mod? If so, how do I proceed after talking to Saturas? Thanks..

So, i played as paladin crossbowman with this modification and i state this is very helpful mod for subpaths and these armours is very beautiful (particularry crusader armor) so i recommend this mod because our gameplay is more interesting.

I didnt encounter any significant stutters during my playtesting, but its not impossible since the features from this mod are added during runtine so it could make the game stutter a bit when first loading them in for some players. Thanks to this though the mod is able to work on pre-existing save files, able to be updated at any time and safe to uninstall without damage to your save. Btw Im glad you like it :)

hmm i encountered small "lags" stutter after enabling this mod but only at the start of the game and it does not bother me, i am not using big mods, union natural sprint, independant training, zutilities, telekinesis scroll....but still good mod :)

@palocundo A list of all armors and how to get them as well as all npcs that wear new armor is provided as a spoiler in the description, i will include the stats of each one as well. If by Union/Ninja mods you mean other small plugins and not big mods that change the whole game like Lhiver or so then i have yet to encounter one that would cause issues with my mod. I was able to complete a modded playthrough with 50+ additional Union/Ninja plugins as well as minimod balance + high vegetation mod without any issues between any of those and armor expansion. If by the odd chance you do encounter a problem make sure to put my mod as the last one in the load order. You should refer to the compatibility section in the description for more info.

Correct, i didnt add this feature to the original paladin armor since it could cause compatibility issues and since most gameplay mods already offer the option anyway it would be redundant.

@Slyve There is a small oversight in the code, the dialogue checks if you have the correct armor in the inventory and it checks for the repaired paladin armor with the open visor. If you have the visor closed or the helmet removed alltogether the dialogue will not start, same applies for all the other dialogs with Milten in this quest. I will fix this in the next update along with a number of other changes i am implementing.

I am currently in Chapter 5, but Milten refuses to bless my armor, apparently. The chat option just isn't there. I have all the ingredients. I am currently in the phase where i assembly my crew and i can only tell him to stay behind or come along. Am i too late for the blessing to occur?

Nah it is fine. The only problem I had was the heavy militia armor that I could not buy but still get otherwise so it is fine.

Well, if you truly only have graphical mods otherwise the mod you linked that dont alter the original scripts then i truly dont know why you are encountering those issues that you wrote about. I tested the mod myself numerous times with other modifications and others played it without issues as well so those problems you wrote about must be subjective for you. Maybe installing the mod manually from my nexus page could fix the issues for you (Link: https://www.nexusmods.com/gothic2/mods/107?tab=files) . If this doesnt help your specific case then i dont know what could.

I have no other mods that do anything with armor. I only have light effects and grafic enahcement stuff and such.

That one shouldnt be causing issues, since i used it as well and didnt encounter any. It would be more productive if you wrote the names of everything you have installed so i can possibly add it to the incompatible list once i confirm it myself. You can also make this mod load last in the starter, it could resolve the issue of its code being overwritten by something else in your case.

Code must have been overwritten by another modification, script patch or something similar. Cannot be a bug since i have tested the mod many times with Minimod Balance and didnt encounter this issue and just to make sure tested it again with Lhiver 1.3 right now and the dialogue worked flawlessly there as well. What other patches/mods besides this mod have you installed?

I tried to buy it from Engor but it was just the same middle one I already had from the town. The other one I could buy was the militia crossbow armor. Maybe a bug? I still got it with Marvin tho.

That is the new heavy militia armor, Boltan is also wearing it in the old castle. The original heavy militia armor was renamed to medium militia armor with lower stats and this one became the new heavy militia armor with the original stats (70/70). You can buy it from Engor, like the original armor because only the look is different.

What is the armor Wulfgar is wearing (the sword trainer in the barracks) and how do I get it? I am about to become Paladin and still do not have it. Or do I need to become Paladin to get it?

You are right. When I look at the normal variant armor as an item it says 70/70 but on the stats it says 50/50 and your version is both 60/60. I guess the stat is the correct one.
