Any spoilers on what that is? Or what part of New York it covers? :steamhappy:

Cyclone - thanks! There may be room for a v2 in the future but for now I'll be working on my nearly 200 mile long U.S project due for release in late 2025.

Congratulations on another excellent Workshop addition, and one that will hopefully get more ongoing attention than the no longer obtainable Peninsula Corridor routes. I still have to play that one and will when I start streaming at some point someday, but for now I would love to see stuff for this one. :steamhappy:

As of 18 April 2025, this route is now "final", meaning that scenarios can be uploaded for it.

The merge I mention is Danny's merge of South Wales Coastal and the Welsh Marches. As a result, one can go from Bristol all the way to Shrewsbury, but any diagrams heading north to the NWC remain incomplete because neither DTG nor any third party ever went north of there.

North of Wrexham would be boring, it's an exclusive back and forth route. I would not spend time on that. I think its terminus is Bidston, one of the stations on that route. Too bad it's so boring, we would have the older trains in TSC there now.

The stretch from Shrewsbury to Crewe and Chester is likely enough to be a route on its own if there is enough traffic, but is the missing link in virtually all long passenger diagrams. Missing Link (ATS sub only) picks up from Crewe for Liverpool runs. NWC picks up to Holyhead. TSW will have the Manchester Airport segment. Maybe TSC someday.

I have had a look at the route and considered it, but as of yet unsure. All I've done so far is update the track speeds and do minor scenery adjustments on the stub tracks that would head off elsewhere.

I have considered north to Helsby as an extension as its pretty straightforward. If I did choose to go south it would probably be to Wrexham only.

What is the merge that you mention? I haven't seen it.

I'm going to presume you have no plans to try heading down to Shrewsbury via Wrexham General or do any other types of extensions with this route, and that only NWC itself will be updated. Is this a correct presumption? I only ask because I know diagrams exist going from south (where we have a merge already) to north, and that is the missing gap.

In a few locations they are yes. Not all though.

Thank you for sharing this interesting enhancement. Does it mean that the semaphores are repalced by modern signalling?
