I think there is a fix to the people saying "make it public access" make a mod where it disables atlas or extremely nerfs it. OR where it puts you in what i call "public modder" where they can meet up with other ppl who also have this mod enable or atleast have seen it

i play on the steam deck and its great, but you have to use touchscreen for it but i have a keybord and mouse so its perfect!
