For ACC I might do a West/East split, with the Florida teams (+ Georgia Tech and Clemson) as part of "West". It's awkward no matter how it goes, but that keeps Virginia with UNC and Virginia Tech with most of the Big East teams (other than Miami)
@mcduffiedawg2 - 1. That's built in to the game wrt which week games happen. 2. Again, FCS games are put in to fill the OOC games that teams need. Controlled in-game. 3. Understand this, certainly. I could probably dial back the frequency of some games. But I do believe it is doing what normal IRL team scheduling would do to preserve those rivalries. IE some SEC team have been playing each other for 80 years in conference. What happens when they are not in the same conference? Do they keep playing? Probably. But how frequently. That's the kicker. No right answer to that. Thanks for your interest.
1. Is there a way to make the biggest rivalries in Week 12 or 13? I have seen many such as the Iron Bowl show up in week 9. Just a little immersion thing.
2. I see FCS games pop up every once in a while. Can we put them at the bottom of the schedule list for like 10 million or whatever fits in your opinion. Just as another option each year.
3. After realignment, I have seen 2 non-conference rivals show up in a given year with non-conference scheduling. It is tough on the home vs road game thing and enough home games. I am not sure I have an answer if you are a team like Clemson, UGA, UK or FSU and their rivalries. I had this happen a lot playing Missouri with old Big 12 teams. It was very cool seeing Mizzou vs Kansas though.
Great job and I mean great job. I have never paid so much attention to recruiting "proximity to home" and "academics" and "playing time" as I do each seaso
A huge rivalry for UNC is Virginia believe it or not. I am not saying they should be in the same pod, but if you can make it one of those out of division or out of pod rivalries I would. If UNC ever decides to go to the Big 10 or SEC, Virginia will go with them. Not Duke or NC State. Watch for that. UNC is the belle of the ball so to speak right now for those conferences.
They were promised a home game the first year Texas joined due to this. Same for Arkansas vs Texas and Missouri vs Oklahoma. The other is Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri and Arkansas. The one you have with Texas and A&M together now is too unbalanced. You can still make them a rivalry game like you do others.
This is becasue the game only supports conferences of certain sizes and division alignments.
