As for afk players, I think just using an admin script to kick them.
i can see your point too. but as someone who mainly plays on singleplayer and a lot of the mods i like cant be used on versus, playing as infected especially in the way this mod offers is just a unique experience. anyways, at the end of the day it is your mod, and if you say it will take time, that is fine by me 😁 i hope i dont come across as brash and demanding about it. after all, there are also other mods you are probably working on and i wouldn't want you to burn out👍

I understand what you mean. I just feel like it's better not to go too far beyond what the Campaign mode was originally designed for. If you want to play as infected, Versus mode is more suitable.
It can be added, but it will require some time.

my thought process is that, with the mods current functionality, i am not in control of where i spawn. meaning there are times when i become an infected at an bad moment and just immediately get killed by survivors anyway. since ghost mode is impossible thru vscript, i thought this could be another way to do it, as i do know the mechanic im picturing is possible due to this mod called team switch/ morph script showcasing the same behavior in the third gif
The main purpose of this script is to make the waiting time less boring for dead players, and potentially decrease the difficulty.
Besides, if a Bot SI is using ability and the player switches, it can cause a bug.
So I don’t think it’s a good idea.

Pickup items may be doable, I don't think interacting with objects is possible.
Impossible with VScript.
If the player is also black and white, this issue may be because the player can't be killed when a map is about to transition.

You mean you set EnabledTime 2 and still got switch in Tank Run?

If EnabledTime doesn't work, it's possibly due to an error in one of your scripts that is causing the loading of the settings to fail, since this didn't happen to me.
Ghost issue may be fixed in next update, I have figured out a method and am testing to see if it works.
Ladder issue is unsolvable by script, I think. It's texture related, and replaced by a custom texture may fix it, I guess.
Try using Notepad++, delete setting file and recreate (by script).
If still no working, are there any error in console on round start? (Scroll up)

如果附近有“没启动”的tank,那闲置中的玩家会去接管tank,同时玩家控制的生还者依然会存在
特感玩家死后也依旧可以通过起搏器或“小黑屋”复活,同时之前玩家控制的生还者依然会存在
應該是切換隊伍的速度太快 我再看看
我还发现个问题,就是boomer和spitter在死后不会出现胆汁/酸液,不过这应该不是bug吧
