Is it compatible with "Awesome" or "Codex" mods?

makes the game actually playable, vanilla is so depressing to look at.

Old Man Henderson: Me haven't used these(Visually Distinctive Terrains) since vanilla game , however Biomes Redux may be alternative. Awesome Planets - Frozen Wonderland for vanilla only(not rising tide). Awesome Biomes - Gaia(rising tide as far i know). (RT) Better Terrain Improvements by gaia may conflict with some. "Plenty of fish to try"

Is this still compatible without Rising Tide?

I'm exctited to play it as well. Also curious if they will need any work making them distinct.

Now this is much more clean and beutiful compare to the original texture... Thx for the work!

I can't wait for the new expansion coming out. It looked like a completly different game.

I agree about Civ5, i thought the 4th one was better untill one or two expenassions in.

much love and happiness.

Never played this before, got it for free for this weekend, looks like these mods are a must. Downloaded them before my game was done.
FortuneHost 13 Aug, 2015 @ 2:01pm
Waaaaay down. Plus, like Civ V, it probably won't be good until an expansion or two. So I will wait.
Cousken  [author] 13 Aug, 2015 @ 12:56pm
Hehe, thanks. Don't they have a sale on right now?
FortuneHost 13 Aug, 2015 @ 10:39am
Whenever Beyond Earth goes way down in price, this will be the first thing I download.

I've played games with your Arid and Fungal mods -- great work! Can't wait for the Lush mod -- when do you expect to have it ready??
PartyWurmp1e 9 Nov, 2014 @ 9:32am
I hope Beyond Earth comes out with more base types of biomes.
Maybe a tundra based snow planet or volcanic planet with lava instead of water. just thinking freely.
Also why does this game have no jungle? Terraforming takes forever for any good food tiles.

Thanks for sharing this!

@Elayeth Damn, it only took 3 mods for someone to point it out :P Thanks!

@PeregrineX7 I know what you mean, and i actually know how to do something about it. The prio is to get Lush done as well, then i'll start polishing.

I love these mods, and I have a suggestions
As it stands, terrain types change rather abruptly
Is it possible for you to make some very small texture changes where different tile types connect? I mean just on the very borders between tiles
Right now the changes are a bit abrupt
Still love it though!

Visually* Also, rockin mods :D cheers

Thank you for this, the visual design is one of the biggest problems of the game, I hope this mod will improve it!
Zei 7 Nov, 2014 @ 9:22am
This might've been one of the biggest problems I've had with the game. Not sure why the original artists weren't able to see that it'd be a problem.
