no it's a custom spotlight block, NOT a replacer

does this cause all blocks to be effected? I had a car that I made with unmodded parts and when I hit something the rear tail lights (paintable indicator) flickered post impact, which some people in the discord say that XML lights act like that.

it's a seprate block that's a spotlight block considering stormworks only uses spotlights as a shadow casting light

does this work with all lights or only the spotlight mentioned below?

try looking for the block called realistic or just search real and you should find it, it's a custom spotlight block
pumpkinator 3 Feb @ 11:18am
doesn't seem to work

just go start a new game, then go to mods then workshop and look for realistic light and then there will be a new block called realistic light in your inventory in the build menu

KerbalMissile 21 Dec, 2024 @ 2:56pm

Nova INSanity  [author] 15 Dec, 2024 @ 10:01pm

ezrathegamer 15 Dec, 2024 @ 9:28pm
i keep falling through the ground

you can not make a normal light be realistic unless you steal the spotlights code but still works either way
Nova INSanity  [author] 15 Dec, 2024 @ 4:00pm
this uses spotlights since that's how stormworks made it
Dark_Sabre247 15 Dec, 2024 @ 10:12am
does this use the spotlights or does this just use the vanilla lights?
Wizardhax1221 11 Dec, 2024 @ 8:38pm
still better than base though
Nova INSanity  [author] 11 Dec, 2024 @ 8:20pm
well this is the best way to do it, they still peak through walls, espically doors but it's as best as it can get
Wizardhax1221 11 Dec, 2024 @ 6:49pm
i always hated how the lights leak through walls
Lukas/CZ/ 8 Dec, 2024 @ 11:29am
right thx

It can since it cast shadows and stormworks is weird in a way were lowing the light to a really non-bright color may look better but could lower FPS more, but it depends on how many you use, I personally prefer to use a player sensor for rooms if your gonna use it so it doesn't just stay on and eat FPS

will it lower FPS or smth ?
