wow...sorry to hear that:deadrat::deadrat::deadrat:
albion  [ophavsmand] 22. juli kl. 8:23
i no longer work on that mod, and the rest of the staff team have also quit due to repeated disagreements with the original author. he says he will port it by himself but i haven't seen much evidence of this; for now i would consider stfr dead

albion  [ophavsmand] 12. juli kl. 9:05
cannot reproduce
Cosmo 12. juli kl. 3:28
Hey @albion can u recheck this?
Option "Windows never breaks" still break the windows.
albion  [ophavsmand] 10. juli kl. 23:22
that's already been done! i can't remember the name right now though
Wack 10. juli kl. 23:12
How about creating a mod that allows you to replace the door instead of the window in the same way?
SIXAB 8. juli kl. 11:34
Installing a glass to a broken window frame doesn't seem to work.
albion  [ophavsmand] 19. juni kl. 19:48
it should work for any window you can't normally pick up
Wiseman6672 19. juni kl. 12:26
Is this just for those windows or does it also work for the big fancy white ones you can find on the irvington town hall and the abandoned boarding school?
DJ Blackhat 7. juni kl. 23:54
Hello again, replying to this late at night, it appears to be working now as now i can select it in the mod list. Thank you, your help is appreciated!
albion  [ophavsmand] 7. juni kl. 14:08
make sure you've downloaded the dependency https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/workshop/filedetails/?id=3378285185
DJ Blackhat 7. juni kl. 10:11
Hello @albion i just downloaded this mod on a whim and as of writing this tried to use it, but it pops up with a X where you choose the mod to load, and shows \Starlitlibrary in red where Dependencies is, not allowing me to use the mod. I do not know if this is an issue on my end or the mods end, as i have never seen this before. Please help, your mod seems interesting.
time_please 10. maj kl. 8:31
@beautysleep you cant and I think its a limitation of the game. Best you can do is build tiles around the outside of the house, allowing you to dismantle the window. Then you can remove the floor tiles when you have replaced it.
beautysleep 6. maj kl. 6:38
Does anyone know how to remove the windows on the second floors of houses? Right now the tile I would need to click on to remove with the crowbar is outside the window and therefor not clickable from inside the second floor. Does this mod make removing from the inside possible?
feenjareen 25. apr. kl. 9:43
@anime pfp by using your brain to decipher what words mean you can understand what he wrote. it says "remember house windows can already be replaced using the furniture tools" which means that the windows that are installed in civilian houses can be removed using the "pick up" command from the furniture menu on the left side of your screen.
Ryoko Darkstar 25. apr. kl. 3:12
I really would love to know since I would love a fully repaired window setup for the factory near Brandenburg.
Ryoko Darkstar 25. apr. kl. 3:11
Pardon me @albion but what do you mean by the furniture tools for repairing/replacing the smaller framed glass?
Red 20. apr. kl. 14:02
ligma yk whut
albion  [ophavsmand] 19. mar. kl. 21:19
yeah, each tile of the window is considered a separate window
Cosmosyn 19. mar. kl. 21:05
does this work with the double-wide normal windows? you often find them on buildings like trailer homes.
Zamard 16. mar. kl. 15:26
Great mod! It also would be nice to build/transfer frames for these glass panes wherever we want
OxTailSafu 9. mar. kl. 22:44
I very much appreciate the mod! If I may make a suggestion, maybe there should be a minimum level needed for glassmaking before you can make such a window pane. Maybe have it adjustable so that for those of us who want it to require some level of experience, we can set the level to higher.
Tnaz.v 18. feb. kl. 19:42
esto no esta ya en el juego base? en la 41 ?
Brezonte 15. feb. kl. 18:07
Instead of a repair it would be more of a change or replacement of the glass, what I mean is that broken glass cannot be repaired with this mod?

Repair Verb
restore (something damaged, faulty, or worn) to a good condition.
123 13. feb. kl. 19:52
可以参考调试作弊来修复玻璃 最好可以增加消耗比如体力饥饿值或者木板材料
ScooterBean 12. feb. kl. 7:58
Sorry that I have to come here and ask a question/issue that has already been raised. Thank your developing this mod us. However, when I go to "install glass pane" nothing actually happens. A progress bar pops up for one short second then goes away and it never uses or actually installs the glass pane into the window.

希望增加所有窗户的维修
Hope to increase the repair of all windows
McDiel 11. feb. kl. 10:07
Well time to steal some windows to repair my base!
Dr. Death 6. feb. kl. 23:47
So the base game lets you make glass to repair house windows, but for some reason not the big glass panes? That's so strange, I wonder if a future update will add that feature.
albion  [ophavsmand] 2. feb. kl. 10:29
of course!
froghateswater1 2. feb. kl. 5:55
does this work on multiplayer?
albion  [ophavsmand] 28. jan. kl. 21:23
yes!
Rayn 28. jan. kl. 21:15
can this be used in an existing save file?
ingeniero 19. jan. kl. 16:54
good muy buen mod 10 / 10
:pillow::pillow:
Art Tippet 15. jan. kl. 6:30
Ciao! @albion.
I translated your mod into Italian, thanks for your work and for sharing it with the community!
Jon Faulken 11. jan. kl. 19:02
Ngl, I don't need this but I'm getting it anyway because the author's screenshots taught me I could already steal house windows, which is why I was getting it. Been playing this game a long time and yet still am amazed at what I can "pick up" with the furniture tools
Blastmetal 11. jan. kl. 14:36
This mod should be base game function change my mind.
Lennon_roll 11. jan. kl. 9:56
good asf :er_wave:
roko711 9. jan. kl. 21:39
Alright i see.
albion  [ophavsmand] 9. jan. kl. 21:26
i decided not to because you need 4 of them to craft a smaller window than the ones this mod lets you repair - you can smash glass panes and melt them into bigger ones, or make as much as you want with sand
roko711 9. jan. kl. 21:20
Pretty sure b42 already has existing glass panes, could you make those work as well
Monkey Magic 9. jan. kl. 19:53
@albion - Ah yeah, you're right. I missed it coz the icon is a counter. Kinda weird. There's no recipe requirement, looks like it does not even unlock at carpentry 5 like some recipes do, it's just unavailable to build until carpentry 5 is reached. Also kinda weird. XD
albion  [ophavsmand] 9. jan. kl. 19:38
glass panes can actually be used to build the smaller windows (e.g. the ones in the last image of the mod) from the build menu but i haven't done it in normal gameplay and the icon is incorrect so maybe the recipe isn't actually obtainable yet outside of debug mode?

since this recipe takes 4 of these glass panes just to make one smaller window it doesn't make sense to use them for this mod, so instead i added Large Glass Panes which cost about 4 times as much glass to make - the process to make them is exactly the same as the smaller vanilla ones otherwise, and they can be used with this mod's mechanics - i've been meaning to make a graphic explaining the process (since the vanilla one itself clearly isn't well known) but i haven't gotten around to it yet
Monkey Magic 9. jan. kl. 19:33
@Albion - have you tested how this mod interacts with the new Glassmaking skill? One of the recipes is crafting glass panes, and while I have made these in debug mode, I haven't been able to fine a recipe to actually make a window, despite the item stating "used to build windows"

My guess is, it is not fully implemented yet, and it may be possible to make both smaller, and larger windows in a future update to the unstable build
albion  [ophavsmand] 9. jan. kl. 14:12
in vanilla you can only pick up and replace the smaller 'house' windows in the last image
Tightwad 9. jan. kl. 13:46
Can't you already do this in vanilla? I'm a little confused on what you're adding here.
radaldiniz 9. jan. kl. 6:06
Um timo mod. No atrapalha em nada a jogabilidade, s vem deixar mais imersivo:steamhappy:
