@Mephsis im sorry i have no idea how to change viewmodel arms, i realy need someone to teach me because i don't understand anything when it come to edit models... i just take them already made and change the script or the textures.

this is probably the best smg mod but shame its not using the default arms

In ep1, the sound is a normal SMG sound, not a pulse SMG sound.

@kinigittijr I tested it again and it seem to work but i also found a missing texture so thank you for your indirect bug report.

that actually a good idea i saw HL:A ar2 with exactly ammo magazines in workshop.

@Carbon1992 I could use the ammo model of the HLA ar2 and replace it.

i cant find any mod that changes smg(or ar2) to the m41a pulse-rifle from aliens, so this will do. if u wanna know why i chose this. cuz i sometimes just see the big iron-sight the pulse-rifle(aliens) has

@Shockingly_Evil im glad you like it, idk if i can change the reload animation but i will try someday, rn i am making a custom weapon's icon for the hud

This mod needs two changes to make it the best SMG mod on the workshop: increase the reload speed because it's too slow, and MAYBE dial the firing volume down a tad. It's not toooooo loud but it's close. As it is right now the gun animations are fucking beautiful, but the reload is snail-paced. If it reloaded more akin to the AR2 (moving parts without gordon's hand refilling the ammo box), it would be phenominal.

Oh well, that's shame. I'll keep an eye out if anyone have it. You can also send the request on Gamebanana to see if anyone like to do one

oh damn, too bad since nobody has seemed to replace the SMG at all yet, it's odd since both the shotgun, pistol, stunstick, crowbar and pulse rifle have been replaced with their alyx counterparts, but the SMG is still untouched. still, cool mod.

@Procyon I totaly remade the script so it will not work properly, but i will eventually upload an ar2 version when i will have more time.
