This MOD will cause the psychic army buildings to disappear. (I used a translation tool to translate this sentence. I'm not sure if the name "Eldritch Army" has been translated correctly.)

The mod is currently broken. Whenever you load a save with this mod all the building you previously built in specialized district slots get moved over to the main city district slots.

Not compatible with the new Origin yet. Dont show the new building from the Origin and doesn't show Psi Corpe, while playing maschines with this Origin

Hi everyone, I worked together with Jak and this mod is now compatible with 4.0.23. The tier 2 planetary issues should be solved as well.

Please check out the Sort Those Buildings page using the link at the bottom to get patches for other mods, all of the patches there are compatible with this mod.

I see the issue with 4.0.22 and will fix it once it releases outside of beta as fixing it now would likely break the mod for everyone still using 4.0.21.

UPDATE

- Fully updated mod for 4.0.*
- Added sorting for Biogenesis DLC and Wilderness origin buildings

Mod patches are currently NOT updated and will break those mods' buildings!!!

I am aiming to update the mod patches within the next week.

With the new changes in 4.0 this mod has become a little over complicated with sorting buildings. I will be reworking the building orders to fit more with the new specialisation districts over the next few weeks. There won't be any dramatic changes to the build orders themselves, just an optimisation of how it currently sorts buildings.


Sorry for the long wait for this as well, been away for a little while.

I would advise everyoen to remove this mod from its pack. Because of this, I was not able to build buildings on my specialisation district!

I'm not sure if I could make an easier way to allow you to sort the building how you want them (like a menu for example) mainly because I haven't really got the knowledge to do that. This is mod is very simple however and all it does is change numbers in a config file.

If you did want to change the order with the mod currently, you would have to go into the config of each building and change the "building_priority" value to a different number, depending on how you want the buildings to be sorted. The spreadsheet that I have in the mod description gives a general idea of how I've numbered each building. You're welcome to simply change this mod's files to order the buildings how you see fit, it's very simple to find this mod's folder on your computer and it's mostly a case of changing a few numbers. The Stellaris modding section of the wiki page has pretty good instructions on how to do this.

Can we choose the order in which our buildings get sorted? I don't mean from a list of options, but to manually where each building type fits in a sequence.

The research labs seem to still work for me. Do you have any other mods installed? It sounds like it could be a load order issue or a conflict with a mod that edits the research labs in a major way.

While I haven't fully tested it, I do believe the mod will only sort buildings that are built after the mod is installed. So yes, the mod is save-game compatible, however only buildings built after you install it will be sorted. Therefore, to sort buildings on an already going save, you would need to demolish and then re-build all the buildings on your planets. It should also be safe to remove this mod during a save however I would highly recommend you backup your save before doing this as I haven't tested it.

This mod on its own only applies to vanilla buildings. Buildings added by mods such as Scientific Revolution buildings will need their own patch. I will look into creating a patch for you but it may be a little while since I'm still working on a few other patches.

Update 22nd December:

- Ancient Cache of Technologies Cache patch is now available in the collection.
- Re-ordered stronghold/fortress buildings to be higher in the sort order to account for orbital bombardment mechanics, I've also changed this in the Gigastructures patch.

I'll see if I can work on some other mod patches soon but please let me know if there's any issues!

Unfortunately since the mod slightly alters the vanilla files it is not achievement compatible. However, I do believe there is a checksum patcher on GitHub that allows you to use mods with achievements/ ironman.

I'll see if I can work on some of these mod patches, my current list in order will be:

1) Ancient Cache of Technologies
2) Stark Trek New Civilisations - I'll have to check on how many buildings they have and it might be a while before I finish it
3) Zenith Fallen Empire

I'll look into At War: Planetary Cannons, as for Extra Buildings with how many different ones there are and that none of them seem to be updated recently I might not be able to create a patch for them but I'll look into it nonetheless.

I don't have a time frame for the ACOT patch yet but I hope to have it done within the next week.

Star Trek New Civilisations compatibility would be awesome, but as it's a total conversion might be a pain. Either way, whenever I play modded vanilla this is a MUST use mod now. o7
