My interest for Civ:Be is gone, and I dont have the expansion.
However, if I will come across the solution, I will try to implement it.
+ yes they are copyright protected but this is steam and I highly doubt your making money off the mod so as long as you put a disclaimer like you already have done your fine, the only time copyright is a problem is when your trying to make money from something someone already owns lol
The thing is, its not that easy. For Helghan Infantry unit, you need 3d models. I am not a skilled 3D modeller. The result wouldnt be very good. Also, i cant just take the infantry 3d model from killzone games for example, as they are copyrighted.
Its still a very nice idea, tho.

Unfortunally, mod development is on hold for now. Way too many things happening right now in my life.
Dont worry though, new version will come out soon or later. So the mod is not going to die. Not now at least.

As for 10 culture per kill, does that include alien kills? If not, then I understand why someone would argue that it alone would be underpowered. But if killing aliens gives you 10 culture per kill also, it doesn't sound underpowered at all. Just churn out a couple of marines, and gunners early on, and go on an alien hunt, and you'll be doing very well for yourself indeed.
Here's an idea: how about, instead of the autoplant, give a free repair facility. That building gives +10% to production of land units, which would be kinda synergistic with their "culture for kills" trait.
Before you, everyone said that the trait is underpowered, so i buffed it up.
Personally i think that the 10 culture per kill is balanced. In the beggining you are very weak, so you wont be able to use that trait that much.. In the mid game and late game it is much more useful, but that still means you have to go the "warmonger" path to utilise the trait.
Now the Autoplant is powerful, i admit that. But the faction needed something more passive to stay compettive with other traits.

I assume the former, in which case this faction seems a bit OP. I'd drop the free autoplant - or at least change it to some less important, less powerful building. Like a free earth relic maybe. 10 culture for every enemy unit you kill - if that's what the description means - is already quite strong.
