6. Last one, remember when we subscribed and opened the game?
Now go to the Left 4 Dead 2 addon folder, for example, mine is on Disk D like this

D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\addons

There's a “workshop” folder there. Open it, find my Back4Blood HUD image, cut both .vpk and .jpg with same name, and paste it outside the workshop folder (one folder outside the workshop folder).

Now open the game and play, Done!! Got it??

Hello MrCannon or whatever is,
I will try like this hope this helps,

1. press the subscribe button on this, (later it will appear additional required just press subscribe to all)

2. Open Left 4 Dead 2 and wait a moment (it will download the mod). Once it's done, exit the game.

3. Download the Noto Sans Fonts link from the description, then open it.

4. Install all the fonts.

5. autoexec.cfg??
If you already have it AND.... there's a line of code like this:

alias load_fonts “mat_setvideomode 1366 768 0; mat_setvideomode 1366 768 1”;
load_fonts;

then you don't need to copy and overwrite my autoexec.cfg file (the one you downloaded) with yours

I don't know how to install it! I already have a autoexec in my cfg folder, but I don't know how to install the fonts and the addon itself!

i get it, maybe the primary and secondary slots are there so it looks big taking up space on the center right of the screen (and I realized it myself, I thought people didn't care about it haha)

actually the initial concept mod of the hud weapon element will adjust according to the OG where the primary and secondary are below the right, and the 3 box slot is above it, but the highlight equipment function does not work on the 3 boxes because it is separate from the built-in hud,

ok I'll try also release this b4b weapon version, I don't know if people will be interested.. in this or not?

Ah, well I suppose what I mean by "beefy" is that the right side of the HUD appears to extend farther up in total than the left side. I admit, that might just be the gun icons contributing to an illusion of that though.

I really like this and think it's the best B4B HUD, but even in B4B their HUD is massive--for my tastes--and I'd personally prefer a slightly smaller one without being too small. A goldilocks zone, I know haha.

Either way, thanks for this :health:! And definitely looking forward to any other versions you might make!

I really like this! Is there is any chance of getting a version of it shrunken down by ~20% in size though? The right side of the HUD in particular looks rather beefy compared to the left side.

my plan and in the future all HUD mods will added custom crosshair

I think for some supporting mods I chose to make my own scale such as features,
multi color scheme, custom crosshair adjusting, and others, but I'm always in development I'm trying to make my mod compatible as possible with other mods you use although it doesn't seem as smooth as thought sorry

And I also wish there was a version which I can see the teammates/bots' health, since I have a plugin that when killing a SI, Witch or Tank they give more HP as a bonus

My solution,
update/re-download this mod (also subscribe to this color scheme mod for B4B)
move all B4B mod files out of the ../addons/workshop file to ../addons

don't forget to unsubscribe b4b mod so it doesn't auto re-download

Hey you're right maybe that custom crosshair can be used in mods that implement it, unfortunately I haven't done that in this mod :(
but I'll save this cool idea for a future day.

Not necessarily true, it is not unique to that specific HUD, most of the compatible ones can be found in this collection .

This idea was probably originated from Urik , where it utilizes a separate completely transparent texture that exists in the game files to allow a conflictless add-on texture being placed in the UI and no missing texture when none is used. This expanded to other modders implementing it on their own.

Do note that I am not forcing you to invoke the use of this implementation to yours, I know that it's hard to get other modders to settle an agreement on one, plus, you might want a larger 'wide' and 'tall'.

Great job on this, nonetheless.

Hey I've checked it, and it seems that the developer of this mod only specializes in the main mod SCHISM HUD even if you try with other HUDs this is not possible, This concept is almost similar to mine BF2042 Crosshair Support , in this pack there are only materials and this only applies to the BF2042 parent mod
so.. why there is no conflict? because there is no file in common with B4B HUD / MUI002 which causes conflicts. that's all
