What exactly is this error? Does it happen on the stable version?
I just tested it, and I was able to clear the dungeon and obtain multiple chests without any issues. I think it should be normal.
Perhaps you should resubscribe to this mod to get updates?

Thanks for the feedback! If the mod was compiled using DLLs from the Nightly build, it will most likely break compatibility with the Stable version. The Nightly branch changes too frequently, so this mod does not plan to support it.
However, if this issue is also occurring in the Stable version, please let me know again—I’ll look into it and try to fix it.
The issue may be caused by the way enemies drop items.

It looks like you're writing the expression 1/50, but the system likely requires a numeric value instead of an expression. To achieve a drop rate of 1/50, you should input the decimal equivalent, which is 0.02.
I just want to increase the gene drop rate a little bit, (it's currently -1).

If I just write it as 1/50,and start the game, it keeps coming back to -1.

Sorry, there are no plans for increasing the drop rate when defeating Big-daddy.
Additionally, I haven't played this game for a while. If you're referring to the significant drop rate decrease for items, I personally think it doesn't have much impact because Elin's equipment mainly comes from chests.
Recent update on Elin had decreased the amount of drop significantly so I wanna make it back as before.

The sosarciel.moreloot.cfg file will be generated the first time you launch the game after installing the mod.
I haven't specifically researched the generation of loot inside chests, but since many mechanics in this game are similar to Elona, it's quite likely that luck does affect the quality of loot.

Alright, I have added animal egg-laying related settings in the "Better Breeding" mod.
However, I haven't tested the effects myself. If you need it, you can give it a try.
The probability of fertilized eggs isn't something this mod is designed to handle.
I would personally recommend using my other mod, Better Gene Modification, to remove the need for gene feat points and allow direct development of the original pets, rather than using the breeding features provided by the game.
I find the current breeding system quite absurd, as it allows a player with a 0-level taming skill to produce a pet with 150-level skills and hundreds of feat points, which is completely unreasonable. This makes all original pets, the NPCs you like, and even yourself, lose their significance in the game.
If I ever decide to add this feature, I would likely modify the breeding value (i.e., egg-laying speed) and the probability of producing fertilized eggs in the Better Gene Modification mod.
