Yea it ain't no easy work being an Author, mainly the type who just do it for fun.
But yea i will admit there are alot of bugs or inaccuracies with it, but i am just limited by my skill, again if i could do better i would but making blind NPC's/NextBots isn't fairly simple.
I appreciate your writing, i read everything well. Thank you.
The mod is very cool, and we appreciate your work. Keep it up! (sorry this was in multiple parts. character limit)
While the author doesn't seem to like crappy or repetitive comments, I'm afraid that's just something you'll have to get used to as a mod author on this website/platform. There's zero point in fighting back against it, or getting upset by it. It's part of human nature to be *ssholes. Secondly, the description is extremely vague on these matters for something that looks like it's almost regularly updated.
First biggest issue I've seen is people having issues with the NPC targeting you from an infinite distance, and ALWAYS being aggressive even when spawning the correction version. Second bigger issue being it never targets NPCs.
To get the NPC to not attack you right off the bat, toggle NPC disable thinking before spawning it. If you're too lazy to do that, or in a weird way it breaks your immersion, then get over it. Mod is broken otherwise.
To get the death angel to attack other NPCs, spawn the combat version. There's no other fix for this. Sorry.
Very liminal and peaceful.
@darieous_jones
You gotta ask Mecha aswell for some PERM. ^.^'
@Lucifer503
Curse of black n' white.
@Durnas
Making blind nextbots ain't so easy. :/
@monke
Use the combat version for NPCs, And it climbs smooth wall surfaces to properly climb, not edgy rocks.
@wandering potato
1. This was sorta my first experience making a blind nextbot, so there's alot of issues to point out.
2. It breaks every aspect of law n' physics in the movie, why not?
I'll try tho, when i get better.
@Venom
You just get a filter, making you completely blind would be not fun.
@gm_marcio
I need assets, but it will be my choice to decide about creating it.
1. For some reason, the "regular" version of the Death Angel will hear me, even when I'm not moving. I could be noclipping in the sky, standing completely still 300 meters away, but it'll still somehow detect where I am
2. Whenever it does the pounce attack, it breaks the laws of physics and auto-locks onto my position, even if I snap its ankles and get right behind it, which gets really annoying after playing with it for more than a few minutes
I know you're limited as of right now, so I'm not that mad, but please try and fix these issues at some point because it's probably my favorite NPC to run from right now
1. I wasn't the one who did the porting, it was the pyro dude.
2. Good the FUCK luck ever trying to get his reply, some personal stuff happened to him involving death and i do not wanna inform further.
Another thing, would there be a way to make the death angel go after noise? e.g, prop falling, or a swep to throw something to lead it away? this can be used with the npc investigation mod.
Same way i think.

But i'd also recommend making them links from "IMGUR", because that can applies they can stay there without out-dating, as for yet in my knowledge.
