@cheeky bricky I think you should try crafting it with full genes and everything else the same in sub editor and seeing if that works.

The best gene in this mod actually seems to be the one that reduces stun. Since almost every attack inflicts stun, you take a massive amount of less damage from each attack (because janky vanilla code).

john im trying to make the exosuit husk gene but when i try it doesnt let me craft it (i have every thing needed to craft it just the mollec gene is very low) can you tell me how i can troubleshoot this issue

@Drizzanlord we had success with placing it and then wiring it to a junction box. Junction box output --> Research Station power. This probably isn't relevant, but just in case, we put it in the lowest room in the Typhon, between the two ballasts. Perhaps your sub might need a reactor efficiency upgrade? (Haven't tested that, but just theorizing)

Just tried using the Portable Research station on the Iroh workshop sub, but after placing it on the sub and putting in stabilizoene and UGM, it says insufficient power and doesn't work. Tried wiring it but no luck. Does it require power or is this a potential mod conflict? Had no luck finding vanilla stations either, might just be bad RNG at hubs but trying to figure out how to use this.

Its added there for mod compatability, you simply craft it, and place it by clicking and pressing E. Then it should work like a regular research table.

Hello, sorry to bother you! I may just be stupid, but I can't figure out how to use the portable research station :( regardless thanks for your great work on this mod, it's awesome and super fun even if I can't figure out the portable research station!

Oh wait, is it only a chance to upgrade?... I just realized I did have it upgrade twice, out of three stacks of common genetic materials + adv stablizine.

Strangely upgrading common genes using advanced stabilize doesn't seem to work. Whether using a normal research station, or the one added by better genes... I know I have some mods like barotraumatic, and baroverhaul, and NT which also effect stabalizing, but Better Genes is at the top of the mod list, so the version of stablizine it is using is from better genes according to the description.
No issue upgrading advanced genes using mutaginic stablizine, but not sure what the problem might be.

Some genes only show their names but not what each gene does, the bad thing is that it is not just one, it is some genes with the same error, English is not my language, sorry for the spelling mistakes and I hope it is understood.

Charybdis Gene isn't aquired on equipping the gene. The Affliction works if given through console, just isnt given to the player when inserted into a gene splicer

Try the portable research station if the regular one doesnt work. Its usually mod conflicts that prevent it from working.

Is the tainted-nullifying of mutagenic Stabilozine supposed to not carry over across rounds? Right now unless there is some secret mod overriding it, it only removes about 10% of the tainted effect per M-Stabilozine and also doesn't carry across rounds.

might need a patch for baroverhaul, because there's a mod that changes "Genetic Genius" for 99% chance less likely to taint...
or maybe make some sort of a talent that u unlock after 100 mixes, for which u get less chance for tainting?

Latcher + Charbydis gene combination tainted caused a crash to happen cough: "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" It's either Latcher or charbydis as a problem, maybe latcher as it hasn't been equipped in the combine yet.

How do you fix a gene if you died with it and now it gives a debuff? There is a gene stabilizer, but no matter how I use it, it doesn’t remove the debuff

Do movement speed buffs stack? If I have the golden hammerhead gene and the mantis gene at the same time, will I be even faster on land or will it just set my speed to the faster of the 2? Like I have a mantis gene that increases speed on land by 21% and golden hammerhead gene that increases speed by 50%, will together they make 71% on land or just set it to 50%?

How gene cleansing with mutagenic stabi works? i used one, it only removed 5 out of 100 debuff counter. and does that even slower. one loading screen and its back. You really mean i have to waste 20 MUTAGENIC STABI every mission to TEMPORARILY remove debuff?
