A major update has been added to all 5 maps. Namely optimization, fixed leaked skyboxes, fancy lights, new props and textures. Enjoy :)

I enjoy how you love using lighting with uncommon colors. You improved your brushwork a little compared to previous mappacks. I liked how you tried to improve your game design; it shows that you worked hard on the gameplay. The last map reminded me of System Shock 2 with its primitive figures at the end of the game. The sound design is awesome.
But, there are many bugs. The biggest issue is: YOUR OPTIMIZATION DOESN'T WORK ON THE FIRST AND FOURTH MAPS, IT'S TOTALLY BROKEN. YOU CAN SEE THIS BY TURNING ON MAT_LEAFVIS 3 IN THE CONSOLE. The grass grows on the walls of the ¿mines/caves? . Lighting sometimes doesn't work correctly. Due to the lack of prebuilt AI, enemies stay in the same areas, making them easy to kill.
But anyway, I think this mappack is underrated. The half-year spent developing it wasn't in vain!

Just so people know: to go to the next map, you have to use the "changelevel" console command, not the "map" command. So, for instance, after you get to the end of the first map, you have to open the console and type:

changelevel hl2_descent2

that shit got scawy
λNTICITIZEN_1 22 Dec, 2024 @ 11:16pm
hate to seem like i'm spamming here but I've run into a few other areas with barnacles and poison headcrab zombies now, that definitely needs fixed. I believe in gmod it doesn't matter but in hl2 it can't handle it
λNTICITIZEN_1 22 Dec, 2024 @ 11:09pm
I'd also say I remember playing this campaign in gmod and having fun but it would be beneficial if you added a few autosave spots
λNTICITIZEN_1 22 Dec, 2024 @ 11:06pm
in hl2_descent, there is a room with a poison headcrab zombie that instantly crashes the game the moment he runs into a barnacle. I believe that hl2 doesn't have code for dealing with a poison headcrab zombie getting into a barnacle.

I'd recommend just removing the barnacle or making an npc clip so the poison headcrab zombie cannot pass to keep him away from it. you might even be able to make an npc clip just surrounding the barnacle's hitbox so that he cannot walk into it...

just figured out how to do the raventown one, ill be adding level triggers to everything after :)
AngriBoi 22 Dec, 2024 @ 6:10am
This and raventown are acutally well thought out maps and is fun to play. I can gurantee you most ppl do not read the desc and think it has only one level. Please add level transitions, i understand its not hard to put in the commands but youll be doing yourself a big favor.

I agree with Haxray here, it'd make the mod SO MUCH better
Cpt.Haxray 21 Nov, 2024 @ 10:56pm
It would be greatly appreciated if you would add proper map level transitions. There is plenty of tutorials explaining how to do this, and it would make your mod a lot more playable.
