Question, did this include a fix for when the dropship leaves its container behind (second screenshot is where it happens) because this WILL result in a crash if the dropship reaches the edge of the map, I remember experiencing that when this campaign was ported to Garry's Mod!

This might be the longest mod I've played. It's not bad, but it's not good either. Too repetitive, inconsistent environment (going in and out of prison too many times). Inconsistent switch presentation. For example, a switch that can be pressed in one level, cannot be press at the other level despite using the same kind of switch design. This feels more dragging than it's supposed to.
Also, I have no choice but to noclip through a door because of softlock at the level with the cylindrical silo on the wide outdoor level

@Highlander this mod makes pretty heavy use of vents hidden behind furniture
Just move some stuff around and see what you can find

Just finished the mod, took three days to complete. Insanely long mod, up there with some other highlight mods I've played on recent weeks. And really really good despite some little jank and balancing issues. The only thing that I was disappointed was the lack of credits roll haha. Well done mod!

Nice but it crashes on map islandundergroun3 for some reason. I'm not using any additinal addon.

Agreed. This really gives the feeling of those old maps that have their problems, but when playing them you can see that creator was genuinely invested in their work.

Thank you. Honestly it has cons, but I passed it a long time ago too, about 10 years ago. But you know, I like the volume of the mod and its good maps, which are not empty, but filled with different details. Honestly I'm glad to replay it, even though I sometimes get lost in the levels. But it has its own charm of old mods, so I play with pleasure myself :GDEasy:

Oh my god, I remember having this map on a disk, like, 13 years ago or something.
Finally I found it. Thank you for uploading it here!

Anyway, since Half-Life 2 Workshop is still drunk, I've left new information about changing chapters in the guide.
In the console instead of “map” you need to write “changelevel”. For example: changelevel islandunderground . Then the map will change without problems.

Stop putting barnacles, I can't get over that thing since I was a kid

Got to the middle of chapter 3 but after the courtyard fight I have no idea what Im suppose to do. Then I went to load my save and they dont work for the map sooo that was cool

Hope Valve do the fix later for this, I've noticed the same too.
I've put the moddb link to the mod, as well as chapter guide link for better navigation.

Appreciate the response. Sorry for the questioning, ran into way too many people uploading Hl2 mods where the level transitions flat out do not work and its been very annoying.
Oktoberfest  [author] 17 Nov, 2024 @ 3:38am
I will put ModDB today.
For chapter guide its because Half-Life 2 doesn't let you choose chapters yourself like it was in the mod. so if someone needs to start with a certain chapter, they can look at the list of these maps

Just a FYI: you're able to link to MODDB and RTSL pages on steam workshop descriptions, as well as gamebanana. It would be nice to include a link to the original mod page.

Also the discussions topic makes me wonder: are map transitions broken or is that just meant as a helpful list? currently the command to force load maps on workshop mods dont actually work.
