if you use gimp, you can export dds files with mipmaps. the defaulting mipmaps settings work fine.

I'm trying adding the so-called mipmap and that seems to work well on that flickering problem. If any better choice exists please tell me

With absolutely no knowledge of the subject, I'm learning about computer graphics to deal with the oversharpened and flickering textures when zooming out and moving the camera. I would sincerely appreciate it if someone could tell me how to solve this problem

USA updated. I'll still working on this mod to fix bugs and remake some textures taht are not satisfying. Re-texture of humanskins and weapons as requested will also come out a few weeks later. Thanks for all your support

So this is fantastic stuff; I was surprised to find out that loading a mod like Extra Maps for Last Stand actually undoes the HD textures.. weird, maybe you know why? Should I load that FIRST and then load these two after?

I tested it, loading EM first, then Valour, then 4k textures works, oops lol

Yeah i realized some mods that were compatible before, now they aren't lol its pretty much solved

@Minos It still works well for me. I haven't tested its compatibility, so you can try disabling other mods that might conflict with it.

@Last-Aztec-Descendant Surely yes for humanskins, but I'm not sure whether to do this for weapons as they are less to be noticed in game

@Zhenja1 Thanks for your advice! Dynamic serial numbers and decals involve editing not only textures but also definition files, so I need more time to figure out how to implement this feature. As for other camoflage I've tried making some but it turned out not to be satisfying. But I might continue on winter and other camoflage later

These are really great and I appreciate your efforts, I do have a question the numbers on tanks like the Italian ones for example don't change so they are always 114 or 2 and is there any hope for the more unique camouflage or maybe winter wash liveries?

I mean, Normand was doing the work since Assault Squad 2 on the mod.
So textures being lower quality compare to vanilla was normal.
So I guess thanks for the mod, that somewhat offsets some work that Normand would do.

Great retexture, makes my eyes bleed less than the old glow stick vehicle paint. Would be great if someone made skins for the infantry units to bring them up to par with the germans and americans.
