can someone help me getting this to work? the game just crashes. I only have 1 mod active, the commentary mode from 2015. nothing else.

this mod seems to be the culprit of crashing the game when being shot at by metro cops or civil protection

i have the retail on a gamestop cd, this mod is not really necessary either, since you can download a version online, and it's only useful if you bought the game and wanted to relive the feeling of the retail version after the orange box and 20th anniversary update.

Love this mod. I was shocked this wasn't an official option considering this would be like if the Half-Life 1 25th anniversary update didn't include the original models and only included the HD models.

And yes, I would love to see a version for Episode 1's retail assets. Whether people prefer them or not, it's about preservation the most, so mods like these are necessary imo.
