i got stuck in labs, picked up Red Lab Keycard and now i don't know what to do. I checked everything. I went into Red Keycards lab (where headcrabs are located) and only could find some bullets for SMG and Ink Ribbon. What am I missing?

played this with my controller, got to 10 health in the start already, 10/10

i almost blue screened trying to load an auto save after dying. it also messed up my default weapons so i had to reinstall hl2

my first experience playing RE 1/2 were via source engine/ hl2 mods. honestly a lot of fun, cant complain. this mod and re1 mod are extremely well made. just wish this mod used the hl2;e2 engine like the re1 mod did. 9/10

Turning the power back on should be as simple as pressing Use on the generator in the basement (after descending the stairs and reaching the T intersection, turn right and go through the first door on your right).

As for the manhole, it's further in, inside the room with the dog cages and dog food bags. Another room just down the hall from that is the jail cells, where you can find the manhole opener (a crowbar) on a shelf.

Cool mission. Unfortunately I gave up after I couldn't figure where the manhole is or where to find the extra cord (to get the power back on).

@Snoops Knight plug should be the one in the clock tower on the 3rd floor above the library room. Find the cogwheel and square crank to reach it.

Dude!!! what a gret map! as someone that played the originals RE games when they came out i'm impress of how good this map is. i love how you used the manhack as crows.
Just a quick note you could have used the fast zombies for lickers since they look alike a little, the antlions as dogs and the acit antlions as plants cause they spit acit like the plants do.
Also you could have put the crossbow as the electric gun. other than that 10/10 map man!!

I would just make a comment. I don't know if there is an alternative path, but I have a door blocked because a "licker" is right behind it.

For the most part you can use a guide for the original Resident Evil 2 to figure out what to do next, as this campaign mostly follows it. But if you have any questions you want to ask here I'll answer them, hopefully in a relatively timely fashion.

Pink textures are probably broken reflections in windows and whatnot. Set mat_specular to 0, that may help.

Everything used in the map is either included, or part of HL2 already.

i disable all the mods i installed and it still bugged

There's something going on with the smg specifically since it has its own weapon script, it's strange. For me there's no custom sounds but the default sounds still play. If you have any other content mods enabled that edit the smg script it might cause issues like silent gunfire.
