@TheSkreeBat I am unfortunately just not really into Space Engineers at the moment. With SE2 around the corner, I just don’t see much point investing time into a soon to be obsolete game. When SE2 fully releases I might make a follow up, but in the meantime I encourage you or really anyone to take a crack at it. I would love to see what people do with the idea.

@Delebre Thank you! Well first I built the ship whole. Then I split into pieces. Then I pasted them on to the sheet. And built a box around it. Entire process was about an hour and 20 minutes I believe?

Including all the pieces or? Did you build it then like break it apart and containerize it in a single hour? Impressive :D

This person spent a lot of time creating this, and it is so so cool. My regards and respect!

I'd like to suggest what I have done,
Add projectors that then project different weapon layouts with welders.
Pick with projection, then activate welders!
Works good with modded weapons.

or additional blocks with turrets to add!

Absolutely Love this concept.

this is a interesting concept, i do something similar with ships and rovers with custom turrets that is the same grid size, a rover with a assault cannon turret i use has a sprue so a printer can make the turret and guide it into the rotor.
