@Studly Spud I can have a look at this, but I am only just getting back into Rimworld modding since the 1.6 update. No guarantees.

@GeekyRaptorStudios
They're from the Yuran Race mod!

hey what mod are the trees from?
Studly Spud 13 Sep @ 2:10pm
Hello! Trying out your mod, because my ideology building is disrespected for not being all floored. The floor in that room is a mixture of smoothed rock and hot springs. The mod has not helped prevent it being disrespected. Do you know if your mod is able to help with waters?
Gorlath  [author] 20 Jul @ 5:06pm
Updated! Please let me know if there are any issues.
Gorlath  [author] 20 Jul @ 1:42pm
I'll update it soon, just got Odyssey myself. Hang tight!
Mythophile 19 Jul @ 12:10pm
Looking forward to 1.6 update.

Is this mod receiving updates?
BlueTressym 26 Dec, 2024 @ 10:24am
I'm just starting a new save and will let you know.
Gorlath  [author] 26 Dec, 2024 @ 8:57am
That.. is very odd. Could be a corrupted save? Try it on an entirely fresh save and see if you can replicate it. If you can't, it might be that.
BlueTressym 25 Dec, 2024 @ 10:24pm
Adding: I just checked the other save where I was having trouble, the first where I noticed the problem, and it's even weirder. There's a spot where I had the problem described below so I deconstructed and replaced the flower patch and they're planting the wrong plant in it, then cutting that plant, then planting it again. It's really, really weird. I asked them to plant a rose because I wanted to see whether it would behave if I used a vanilla flower (I have a couple of flower-adding mods) but it's not planting the rose and instead planting a different (mod) flower repeatedly and cutting it again.

Also, again it's on ONE flower patch; the others are fine.

The issue with them not planting trees seems to have gone but I went back to the save where it was being weird and it again threw an error when they tried to plant a flower on one particular patch. I have 12 flower patches that are all fine. The thirteenth, they seem unable to plant a flower on; it's bizarre. Are they just very superstitious? (Not a serious question.)

The HugsLib error doesn't show up in the newer game I made with mods stripped right down but still does in the one that's being weird. Testing is still ongoing.
Gorlath  [author] 24 Dec, 2024 @ 12:05am
Alright. I wasn't able to replicate the "unable to cut down trees" issue or the hugs lib error, but I've just pushed an update that hopefully should fix the latter. With luck, that issue was also causing the former and is now fixed too.
Gorlath  [author] 23 Dec, 2024 @ 11:40pm
Odd. I'll look into it. Thanks for bringing this to my attention :)
BlueTressym 23 Dec, 2024 @ 9:31pm
Update: https://gist.github.com/HugsLibRecordKeeper/0d2a6a5883a10debcc87be0f10e4edbd

I'm getting an error saying something about 'is haulable but does not have an authored mass value.' It's happening with just this and Hugslib.

Testing re. the weird tree-cutting glitch is still ongoing.
BlueTressym 22 Dec, 2024 @ 5:23pm
I absolutely love this mod. There's a mod that adds a 'Garden Zone' you can use instead of a growing zone and you can customise what grows in it. Surround your flower patches with a variety of other flowers!

I'm getting some issues where after I lay down the flower patches, my people stop cutting trees. As in, I designate trees for cutting or extracting and my growers just ignore them. If I right-click them to make them cut a tree, they do, but then they go back to whatever else they're doing and still ignore the other trees.

I'm looking further into this to see if I can figure out more but I'm not a modder so about all I reckon I'll be able to do is confirm my current findings.

Thank you!
Gorlath  [author] 19 Nov, 2024 @ 3:26am
Yeah I should probably remove that since it can't be Minified. I'll push an update soon!
Power of OxiClean 19 Nov, 2024 @ 2:53am
Getting a minor red error on start due to what looks like a typo in the XML. "<minifiedDef />" is missing a config block and with the slash at the end it's interpreting it as trying to define minifiedDef without assigning any properties.

Ooo that's smart! Actually, I think I have a low fence that acts as a actual fence but visually is very small. I think it also comes in a invisible version - you could totally use that! Unfortunately I can't remember what mod I got it from as I have 100+ furniture mods, but I think it's from one of the more bigger ones. I know it came with stone brick fencing and various other furniture as well...
Gorlath  [author] 16 Nov, 2024 @ 2:50pm
Yeah, you can make a large walled area and set it to "ignore roof" or "remove roof". That's what I did for the preview image shrine.
I also recommend adding a pen sign and disabling all animals, then setting up auto-cut for things you don't want. And growing zones set to Hidden!
bean 16 Nov, 2024 @ 7:35am
I'm gonna test it out, but I think if you make an enclosed outdoor space and only roof some of it, then it'll count as a shrine but you can still get that outdoor feeling. I'll have to check though, but I think I did this for my astronomer ideology for their chapel (where the center was open so they could gawk at the stars).
Gorlath  [author] 14 Nov, 2024 @ 1:24am
Yes, unfortunately some Ideology stuff still needs to be counted as rooms, so you can't just leave everything outside. I don't think I can fix that, sorry...
남블님 14 Nov, 2024 @ 12:31am
i want massive place
남블님 14 Nov, 2024 @ 12:16am
If the space is too big
Requirements are not met for no reason.
Could you please let me know the email I will send you a screenshot?

I did not expect the day to see Gorlath becoming a mod creator.
Gorlath  [author] 11 Nov, 2024 @ 2:21am
No problem!
BlueTressym 10 Nov, 2024 @ 9:43pm
I'll do that then. Thanks very much.
Gorlath  [author] 10 Nov, 2024 @ 9:06pm
@BlueTressym I think it was actually Vanilla Expanded Framework for you too. I pushed an update earlier that fixed the issues, so steam probably downloaded the update while you were adjusting your mod list. If you re-add Relics and Artifacts, there should still be no errors.
BlueTressym 10 Nov, 2024 @ 8:12pm
Hiya. Over with me, it seems to be Vanilla Ideology Expanded: Relics and Artifacts causing the issues I was seeing. I took an educated guess and removed it, and the errors went away.
Gorlath  [author] 10 Nov, 2024 @ 3:26pm
Alright, it should be fixed now.
Gorlath  [author] 10 Nov, 2024 @ 3:07pm
@Azasuk Oh, it seems VE Framework has a prepatch that already mostly does what my patch does.
Those errors are harmless, but I will push an update to fix them soon. Thank you.
Azasuk 10 Nov, 2024 @ 2:53pm
This mod does not seem to be compatible with Vanilla Expanded Framework.

Alright, I went over it and I don't seem to be getting the error myself. That said, I redid my patch and updated it anyway, just in case. If you're still getting the error after getting the latest update of this, it's probably just something else modifying the data first. Either way, it's quite harmless.
Gorlath  [author] 9 Nov, 2024 @ 1:12am
@BlueTressym Thanks for the report! That should not be a problem at all, just looks like one of my patches is failing. This particular one won't cause any instability at all. I'll have a look and see if it's something I can't fix.
BlueTressym 8 Nov, 2024 @ 11:13pm
Hiya. Thought I should alert you; I've added this for a new playthrough and seem to be getting some kind of red error:
https://gist.github.com/HugsLibRecordKeeper/275ef5f9f3e1c81a90217bf465cc5f1e

Is this going to be a problem for my game?
