(This is not a request only for this mod, but also for your other mods) I know i'm asking for something very taxing timewise, and probably i will recive a negative response, but is possible to make these 2 things?:

- Being able to modify the stats and traits with a ingame menu of sort during char creation, to make it more user friendly.
- Being able to have multiple sets, for example be able to have multiple custom races.

well, the source extractor that is linked here just gave a bit more info on the variables available in the class and race creation mods, but sure, if you find a working source extractor and manage to get a readout that includes those "other" traits somehow i'd be curious about it as well^^

It doesn't seem like that's the case, from what I found ):
The Elin wiki also lists them under "others", opposed Racial or Class.
I might try looking into the Source Extractor, I don't really know how it works and if it can help for this.

it does work, just the linked source extractor isn't available anymore
(but it isn't really needed since most stuff is pretty self explaining, especially if you played the game at least 1-2 runs before)

as far as i know those feats are class specific, so you might wanna check out the mod that let's you create custom classes

Is there no way to obtain special Feats with this ? o:
Like the 'Celestical Fox' from the Fox Maid, or' Rapid Cast' from Demitas.

Is there a way to figure out their internal name so they can be added, maybe ?

if you're talking about the source extractor that's linked, you don't really need it,
just subscribe to this mod here, start the game once and the file should get generated in your elin install folder like described above and there you just gotta edit the stuff accordingly
most stuff should be self-explaining like the starting stats and under elements you gotta delete everything your race shouldn't have, the numbers after the / is the level of the skill/trait

If you don't change the invisibility to 0, it will remain transparent.

I could not find the feat for RareRace/1 in the cfg. Adding it manually seems to do nothing.

Huh, just to add to that it seems like when it comes to the body parts (figure section) there is a "leg" body part that doesn't seem to relate to anything? Since it's separate from waist/feet but I removed it and I'm not sure if anything actually changed.

Fair enough, guess it isn't relevant then.
Was about to ask about denoting body parts but I realized that the part of the cfg that affects those is in Japanese characters.

as far as i know there's still nobody around that figured INT out yet, might as well have to go to the developers directly and hope for them to actually tell what it does.

Cool, still bumbling my way through the cfg and figuring stuff out. Can anybody explain what the INT value relates to? The one where the default is set to 20. I see it in the other races in races.csv, I tried setting it to an obscene number and starting a game with the custom race to see what it reflects but I don't see it anywhere.

that's because of the brackets that steam adds to the link, just copy/paste it without the brackets and it works fine, heck it is an official steam link in the first place xD

@J-Side is not a boolean, is a integer, extraRaceSlot
you change it, and next time you open game, cfg will generate new sets of field for new race as much you want

So, I know we can have slots for multiple custom races. How do you actually set them up? I've just been messing around in YourCustomRace.cfg, then swapping it out entirely with another YourCustomRace.Cfg whenever I wanted to try a new race.

Is there a way to have both races available at once? I know there's a boolean switch on the inside of the .cfg, but that only enables the extra slot. from what I understand

我不确定是不是,但是我用文档创建的第二个种族进去后采集东西就会崩溃,我就调了属性和技能,别的也没动,不知道为啥(捂脸)

umm that EQ explanation doesn't really make sense, unless there is some weird double-layer governing equipment since as you also explained equipment slots are handled with the figure setting where each entry is a separate slot

also you seem to have an error with the amount of potential you get for skills, everything will give 10 potential per starting level, as an example weightlifting/5 = 150 base potential
weapon skills (martial arts excluded) for some reason give 10 less potential tho, as with the farmers lvl 7 scythe = 160 potential

but yea, overall the only troubles i had figuring out were the 3 entries i asked about, really kinda strange that martial is a separate entry entirely tho instead of being in the same group as literally all other skills/feats etc

anyways, thanks for helping/confirming i got most of the stuff right =)

Most of the others don't matter overmuch for players - meleestyle or gender ratio etc. Even the wiki doesn't explain what INT is, though. You can probably fish around in Weasel's upload of the .cs files to figure it out, but I wasn't able to find it more than the reference to SourceRace - though reading the race file from the .csv uploads from the source extractor at least gives you the values for everything. The cs file from Weasel also suggests there are, or used to be in an older version, lines to avoid telepathy or add dictionary/longname string entries, but neither the source extractor or this mod seems to use those lines. https://weaselofdeath.github.io/ElinModdingDocumentation/_source_race_8cs_source.html

martial is the martial arts skill (for boxing gloves, claws, and unarmed) so martial/4 starts you off with 4 in it along with (100+5/pt=120) potential - though if you also add it to class then it combines them both when you start; EQ is the ability/kinds of equipment possible (wolves can't wear things, but goblins can. Just leave it on all unless you're making something as a challenge.) PV is physical defense, DV is dodge value, PDR is physical damage reduction %, EDR is elemental damage reduction %, EP is kinda like 'extra dodge' (you can see that Fairies and Quicklings have this.) Pen is penetration (how much armor is ignored) though basically everything has zero. Elements are where most things are worth doing since skill doesn't seem to do much/work and also has to be entered in lines. Figure is bodyparts (asura have 4 arms for example.) material and corpse really shouldn't be messed with or the game will likely not want to load, just leave it on meat.

tags, as far as I can tell, help reference against cannibalism (a fairy can eat a human but not another fairy without risking becoming sick); also bane effects (e.g. fairybane weapons which cause them to take %more damage) - there's probably something in the .dlls the game itself uses that also decides whether or not a race can speak, are sentient (for telepathy; mostly machines and some undead can avoid this, plus yith) etc. A monster with humanspeak just isn't mute.
