@Capitán Alatriste
A year ago I experimented with creating a map of the North Atlantic with a relatively short distance between Europe and America. This inspired passengers to take the liner.

There is also a clever way to create an invisible ship with very high speed, similar to an airplane, and place it on a regular route. This would encourage passengers to travel longer distances, but for now these are just experiments.

Ahhh that sucks... I purposefully created a map specifically for 1900s steamship travel with massive oceans :steamsad:

I guess I will have to create cash cow lines to afford them hahaha

In Transport Fever 2, there is a problem that the longer the distance between stops, the less passengers want to use the transport. This is exactly the problem with these ships, where cargo goes on board but passengers do not. At the moment, I only see a solution to make the ports closer together to reduce the travel time between them.

Having a weird bug with all your ships. They look incredible, but for some reason they never carry the promised amount of passengers, but barely a quarter of it, the rest is for cargo. How do I resolve this??

I've been planning to use one of those world maps to do an "International" Freegame so having large ships like this is brilliant.

@Miniadler
I think I understand what the problem is, we will try to update them in the near future.

@Cervus
We thought about it, maybe in the future we will come up with something about it.
Cervus 4 Nov, 2024 @ 5:52am
you should make the harland&wolff shipyards, as well the southampton dryrocks, since the vanilla ones,are too small for those ships!
W Work!

@eelbe After the Olympic was commissioned, it was moved to the Canadian route, and after the appearance of the Titanic, it was suspended and idle, but after the death of the Titanic it returned to service.

Two ships from the White Star Line. I heard the Majestic came out of retirement after the sinking of the Titanic.
