The Vargheist RoR skin loads okay and vampires have the new look but something is just blocking the Vargs from getting the new skins
Sorry to hear that, I don't know why they would be doing that, as it works fine for me. It is also possible that a non-vampire mod conflict is the culprit, like anything to do with resizing or LOD modifications.
placed this in the top of my mod load order and above all other types of vampire Lord reskins but still cant get it to work, also unsubbed and downloaded again to try to update the mod and no luck
This mod is now compatible with the Classically Beautiful Isabella reskins. The only bit of incongruity is the default Isabella portrait is vanilla Isabella (but with red eyes), but her model is properly changed, as are the models and portraits of all other variants, that now have red eyes. Make sure this mod loads on top of that one for best results.
Sure. What a beautiful mod that is too. I don't know when I'll do it, maybe I'll do one a day or something, my plate is extremely full these days but yeah I can do it, I took a look at the mod and the files are very helpfully named for compatibility with this mod.
Thank you, glad other people appreciate the small details as much as I do!
Ah I got it now, strangely I had to boot up WH3 to get it to download. Regrettably it can't be done right now, in the mod files Noctilus has the exact same vanilla file naming, so I can't really put him in this mod or the compatibility one, because people would be receiving that version of him whether they wanted to or not.
Now if he had named the file like cst_noctilus_head_modded_01.rigid_model_v2 and so on for the .wsmodel, I could do something, but as is, not so much.
i have made some tests and seems like if i put that mod above yours, it half works, aka, Noctilus has the mask of the mod and the eyes are red, but the portholes aren't working, the 2D, and static ones at least.
maybe try Noctilus-Helmet, that's how the pack is named, folder name 2878209918
or i could perhaps link you to the pack itself via outside link?
Would love to, but I can't find the mod after subscribing. Whatever the author chose for the mod file name is unhelpful for finding Noctilus, and I'm too busy to hunt around for it so it is what it is. Maybe you could tell me and I could find investigate properly on making it compatible.

I believe a mod for that already exists. I'll see if I can find it and add it to the compatibility mod. Ideally, one day I'll be able to just have all these variants selectable with Variant Selector, but my hands are so full these days, I just don't have the time anymore but for basic things.

It's outdated but it will still work. Visual mods will generally work even while being outdated as they're just texture changes, not really altering essential data tables that mess with the game's function.
you mean that reskin from yogo pogo?
is that one not outdated?
wasn't that reskin last updated almost 3 years ago?
does it still work for you?
I'm a little too busy for that these days, but I do use the the Festus reskin that gives him more muted/darker colors, I think he looks more fitting that way.
he looks like a cartoon character, for me atleast.
No worries whatsoever, thanks for being so detailed on it. I will certainly give it a shot as I do have some experience with it. Might also give making a custom card a crack and seeing if I can't hard overwrite the current one and plug that into it, but my artistic skills are wanting in all truth, so we shall see haha. Thanks again!
Yeah that's an oversight on my end. I can't readily fix it because the Tabletop Blood Knights mod uses the same file names as the vanilla ones and at this point a good amount of people expect the mod to do what it does, so I'm reticent to remove them. Ideally the creator of that mod could change those file names but I haven't reached out to him for that yet, not sure how responsive he is. But yeah if you're familiar with RPFM, just load the mod's packfile in that and delete the Blood Knight related files from that compatibility mod and you'll be good
Ahh damn, well fair enough, though it is a shame. Well thanks to both of you for your hard work anyway! Really is great stuff. Maybe one day it will be easier to make it happen with new tools, but I think that might be like waiting for rain in a desert!
I did also want to ask regarding the Tabletop Blood Knights in your sub-mod. I know the description says that the 'required mods' in that pack are not actually required, but when I drop "Tabletop Blood Knights" my Blood Dragon lord's head disappears haha, unsure about the cav unit itself but I can check if you'd like. Main issue for me is the model and the unit card look completely different hence my attempt to drop it. Is that something I have somehow broken on my end?
Thanks!
Thanks! Unfortunately that's one of those 'comes with the territory' type things, it is technically possible to update the unit card, I've done similar work in the past on my own mods, but it involves changing a bunch of data tables on Schlossy's end as well as utilizing a 3rd party program for custom portraits, and I didn't want to ask that of him, especially when he was generous enough to rename certain things in his mod so we could get the Isabella model compatibility with this one.
In the sense that if you load this on top of CoU, it will not crash. Some vampires untouched by that mod will probably have this mod's appearance. But none of the vampire units unique to that mod will have this mod's vamp appearance, practically speaking there's just too many vampire units for me to give them this mod's treatment.
Added compatibility for Schlossy's Isabella reskin. Check out preview wheel for sample image.
Probably just you. Looks fine for me.
Sure, I'll give it a look. No promises but I think I can probably get that to work if the model doesn't have anything funky behind the scenes and the file names are suitable.

Appreciate your continued work on this great mod and submod!
I spoke too soon. I tried to make it compatible but my tools aren't working. That Isabella has a very custom model, which means I have to load it into the newest version of AssetEditor. The newest version of AE is quite frankly a pain to use, makes no sense to me and I find basic functions missing, therefore I can't readily make that Isabella compatible.
I won't say never, but I don't anticipate a compatibility update any time soon.
Yes I will aim to do so! Very cool looking mod. It will either be added to this mod or the compatibility sub-mod, I'll have to take a look at how things were constructed behind the scenes.
Added compatibility for Masked Mustachio's Mannfred, Captain Drekla from Mixu's Legendary Lords, Mundvard & Alicia from SCM Marienburg, Lahmian Handmaidens from Extended Roster – Vampire Counts
-Updated Depth Guard to have glowing red eyes
Drekla I haven't actually tested because at the time I added him Mixu's LL was broken, hopefully he displays the way he should whenever its fixed.
Added a few pics to the preview wheel showing the new additions.
It is done. It'll be updated when the new DLC comes out. Just make sure that mod loads below this one. I just overwrote their heads with normal Vampire lady textures. Due to certain issues it was not worth the effort/time to import the Extended Roster Lahmian textures, in the future I may make rework them further so they're more like their appearance in that mod.
Yes, they will have red eyes. Up until your comment I never took a REALLY good look at their model, all this time I thought they had little flaming orbs of undead magic for eyes like Grave Guard, but no they have actual eyes just glowing out underneath the helmet!
When the DLC is released, this mod will be updated accordingly, especially in regard to the Depth Guard. Wonderful catch!
Are there plans to also give red eyes to the Depth Guard units?
Thank you. I'll try but probably not. I've run into similar problems with the Handsome Vlad mod. The primary problem with making them compatible is that their modded character models share the same name as the modded Vlad in this mod, so I run into the issue of one overwriting the other, even if I put it into my compatibility sub-mod!
The easiest solution is if the other Vlad authors rename their Vlad models within their mods. But I'll try some other complicated work arounds at the same time.
Man that was such a great DLC, thank you for bringing up good memories!
This mod has been updated again, now compatible with Hooveric's vampire reskin. Just make sure this mod is loading above it.
Mod will be updated again probably when next DLC comes out.
