I get wanting to add difficulty to starbound, cause this game is easy as sin, but adding enemies that are resistant except to only 1 specific weapon, and do insane damage unless you are wearing very specific armor isnt difficulty. It's an illusion of difficulty. So fingers crossed that the rework also covers armor. It prevents the statuses that come with being damaged in GIC.

That's great news! We had been getting one-shot by GiC enemies if we don't wear GiC armor (which sucks). Honestly, that's the same level of annoying as the random and small stack sizes.

I don't know why the author designed these features like that. Probably just being a smartaśś.

As far as I know I thinks its mainly a rework to weapons and enemies, allowing you to use non-GIC weapons (and hopefully armor) in gic related content and actually do some damage or not get 1 shot. Being forced to only use GIC items is kinda wack.

Damn, there's a rework coming? I might need to redo the whole patch by then. Because the items could change.
