Sometimes Escape Simulator is sensitive to graphics settings – could you try: Textures → Half, Custom Compression → Fast (Low Quality), Lighting → High Quality, Additional Optimizations → Off. Hi SuperFritz, great room so far! Unfortunately, it keeps crashing my game. I've rebooted and still the same. It happens when finishing the horse 1 cabinet. Are there any settings I might need to adjust in the game that might be causing an issue? When it crashes, it pops up a "Unity" dialog then goes back to desktop. I've played about 100 rooms and this is the first one that has actually crashed the game. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

It sounds like you might have missed the curtain rod that’s leaning against one of the drapes surrounding the room . That’s the only interactable item at the start – and it leads to a hidden chamber. I hope you’ll give it another try. 😊

I think this room is bugged, I can't click on anything. I spent 10 minutes checking every pixel and nothing is interactable.

Hey @xscott1991x - thanks so much for playing the room! 😊 I just tried to recreate the glitch you mentioned, but I wasn’t able to reproduce it on my end. When I dropped the horse trophy, it returned to the inventory as expected. Hopefully it was just a one-time glitch! I really hope you’ll give the room another try and have a fun time playing through it.

Well tried to do this room and it glitched out after completing the first box carousel. I accidentally dropped the big horse trophy thing that you get and it flung it out of existence. Hopefully it can be fixed then I can come back and play it through.

I also got a bug with Cabinet 3. For some reason, the control element for the second lane broke, so I couldn't get the horse to the correct position. It really sucks getting so far just to lose all that progress to a glitch. :(

Hello! This is really cool, but unfortunately, I can't get Cabinet 3 - Puzzle A to accept the solution even though my brother and I are pretty sure our solution matches the one in your walkthrough. Is this a possible bug, or are we misunderstanding something?

Also, I did have one point where I accidentally clipped through the central area curtains, but I was able to get back into bounds.

Anyway, I like this a lot, so I hope to attempt it again if I can find out what went wrong for me on that one specific puzzle. Thanks!

Extremely creative and atmospheric. Absolutely phenomenal job. The only things I can suggest are letting some of the briefly shown clues be toggles instead of timed, because some of them are much too fast for me to spot, like the balls on the projection puzzle.

Hi Shoulders, thanks for trying to play my room! 😊 You’re right – there are moments when the gear icon on the right side stops spinning temporarily, where it may seem like nothing is happening. But once all the models are loaded, just wait a bit longer until the message “Loading custom level” appears. The gear will start spinning again after a while, and it then only takes a few seconds until “Settling Physics” is shown, and the room opens. I hope you’ll give it another try and allow some extra time during the loading steps. Let me know if it works, and I hope you’ll have a fantastic time playing it once you’re in! 😊

Hi, similar issue as Bun described. For some reason game crashes when loading assets for this room. Tried adjusting the settings as you already mention, with compression, textures, etc. Did not help. Just gets to 108 assets and stops there.

Hi Bun, sorry to hear about the crashes! It might be related to your graphics settings in Escape Simulator. You could try the following adjustments:

1. Custom Textures Compression: Set this to Fast (Low Quality) to see if it helps.
2. Textures: Try setting them to Half or even Quarter quality for better performance.

Hopefully, these tweaks will fix the issue. Please let me know how it works out! 😊

Fantastic room! It was a little laggy for my old laptop, but we got through it. Such gorgeous imagery. The puzzles are more straight forward than they seem at first, but still challenging. I used the walkthrough twice for a hints and each time I did, I was like "duh, of course!" So, it's doable if you just spend a little time on each puzzle to work it out.

Exceptional room, my wife and I really enjoyed this. Thank you.

This was ridiculously cool. My friend and I immediately pointed out the fluidity and atmosphere of the level. The puzzles required some decent thought but nothing overly complicated or very time consuming, wonderful!

But it froze completely here when the drawer opened to release the key after solving the
"Puzzle 3: Mystery Box in Cabinet 1 – Puzzle A".
It froze exactly in the moment when the drawer finished the opening move and showed the key.
I even couldn't kill the task. I had to force a reboot.
