I am sorry but I really have no idea. The gamemodes were released almost 4 years ago and after countless patches Relic may have changed something that affects them.

When I start the match, the victory points always show 0 to 0. Happens to both ur version and the original version. Is this a glitch? how can I fix it?

Hey Jake, yes youre right: Unfortunately, I havent updated this in ages, as my interest in Company of Heroes declined. Maybe someone else would be willing to implement the necessary changes. All that would require is some rough knowledge of SCAR-scripting.

this seems dead but if you play this with brits their base still needs to be built up. serious disadvantage. I'd really love to play this more but I mainly play british and they kinda suck because of the resources they have to spend to just be able to produce other units.

Hey Celticus,
im glad that youre enjoying it. It has been a while since I released the gamemode and lots of things have changed since then. There isnt an update planned at this point, simply because I wouldnt know what to add. Changes based on the fact that the british factions was added in the meantime would be necessary but Im currently not very interested in doing that to be entirely honest.

Plus, I always work on one project at a time and there is something different in the works right now :)

1. A seperate mode for playing vs the AI would be necessary for that, because there is a reason why I removed the repair ability. However, you can play this gamemode without the tuning pack in order to have functional repair abilities.

2. Some update must have messed up things then :(

I tried to make this gamemode work with regular maps. Not every map will have optimal gameplay but most of them should work fine.

Heya, this is a fun variant of the Attrition mod. There are however some issues.

1. You removed the ability to repair from the infantry, this causes problems when playing with the AI. It thinks you can repair and moves his tank to your "engineers" and just stops there. Would be great if you gave the repair ability back to make the AI work properly again.

2. I don't know why, but the timer for the Victory Points doesn't work either. They only say 0 for both teams. One doesn't know what the standings are.

Just wondering, can't there be added custom features to the mod? As like, being able to modify how many resources or things like that and population? Also a custom map would be needed for this game, because the normal ones are intended for resource capturing.

There are some similarities, its closer to EiR gameplay than vCoH2 gameplay but unfortunately its not as close to EiR as Id like it to be ;)

Thank you for your feedback.

The amount of sectors shouldnt vary too much on official maps but there can be map-related issues as this gamemode was created with 2v2 gameplay in mind.

The population cap is supposed to punish the team, that is unable to hold enough sectors but I will look into it if it feels too punishing/too restrictive.

Glad that you enjoy it, I will think about possible fixes to the situation.

I am loving this game mode as it is now, however I think there are a few tweaks that need to be done. The one issue I've noticed is the population cap. On smaller maps there weren't enough points on the map to field a large enough army to have any significant battles on either side. Functionally it is fine, in terms of gameplay however it can be boring. There are issues with the population cap even on larger maps where if you don't have enough points the emergency supplies become useless because you don't have enough population to use them, this is functionally flawed and for the winning team is boring.

I will see how to incorporate high ressources and annihilation. Your idea of a one time gain of ressources is interesting, i will think about that. The camera zoom out already is increased quite a bit.

very interesting gameplay. When you play a feeling like playing single-player campaign!

What changes would like to see.
possible to make a game mode with more resources? mode without victory points? Make a one-time opportunity to replenish resources? or example, under certain doctrine of one-time increase ammunition or fuel? zoom out the camera?
If you can do this, your mod would be incredible! awesome!

Hey, wie schon erwähnt sind UI Veränderungen derzeit leider nicht möglich. Das ist zwar schade, aber ich denke man kann auch mit der neuen Armeeanpassung irgendwie leben. (Hoffentlich :P)
Es gibt zwar in der Theorie Wege die Fraktionen zu limitieren (bspw. indem du die Soviet Armee mit der US Armee ersetzt, sodass Spieler immer die US Armee spielen egal welche Fraktion sie nun wählen), allerdings wäre das keine 100%ige Lösung, da Commander und die fraktionspezifische Stimme unverändert blieben.

Ich denke auch in dem Fall wäre es die bessere Variante einfach in der Lobby darauf hinzuweisen, dass Mixed Factions unerwünscht sind. Sollte mir diesbezüglich doch noch etwas Besseres einfallen melde ich mich bei dir.

leider sind Interface-Veränderungen (vorallem welche die das Menü betreffen) nach meinem Kenntnisstand derzeit nicht realisierbar. Der Mod-Support seitens Relic ist mit den kürzlich veröffentlichten Modtools noch nicht vollständig abgeschlossen und viele Aspekte des Spiels sind daher noch nicht modifizierbar. Hoffentlich wird sich das in Zukunft ändern.

Ähnlich sieht es bei Fraktionen aus, kompletten Zugriff auf die Fraktionsrelevanten Dateien haben wir noch nicht. Sofern ihr, falls ich das richtig verstanden habe, verhindern wollt, dass Fraktionen im Match nicht gemischt werden können (bspw US+Sov vs OkW+Wehrmacht) wäre das eventuell mit einigen Tricks bis zu einem gewissen Grad möglich. Ob, das was ihr euch diesbezüglich wünscht zu 100% möglich ist kann ich noch nicht genau sagen.

Sofern du noch einmal kurz erläutern könntest was genau ihr euch wünscht kann ich mal überlegen was da zu machen ist.

ich wollte fragen ob du einen mod machen kannst der das menu (bewaffnungsanpassung etc) wieder so aussehen lässt wie es vor dem patch mit der western front war?! das wäre echt super denn diese mixing forces sind echt ziemlich scheiße und ich und meine coh2 kumpels sehnen uns einfach nach der besten zocker zeit die wir je hatten und die west front hat das alles son bisschen zerstört und wir hören uns alle grad nen bisschen um weil keiner von uns ne ahnung hat wie das mit den mods funktioniert wir würden dir sogar 1-2 kommandanten geben und 5 euro paysafe
schon mal im vorraus danke das du überhaupt die nachrricht gelesen hast ;)

What a great mod! The normal attrition mod has great ideas but it is the same thing over and over again... Every player will get the heaviest tank they can afford and the player who wins the first tank fight, wins the match, because you have not enough ressources (AND TIME) for a comeback. This mod works against this situation. :)

Updated! Removed starting units, caches and added emergency supplies.

Im still getting used to it myself!^^ I will try to emphasize the "Wave-Aspect" in future updates by increasing the importance of supplies. The intent is to make players feel like they are "holding out" until the supplies finally arrive.
