Have you tried to mess with worldgen.json? It maybe helps...

Biggest size sure is awesome. Unlucky though that we cannot edit the algorithm itself to create nice and natural maps and fill it more or less equally with POIs and towns. 30y played, way to go!

Thank you for this one. As someone who always defaults to the largest map sizes in games - even when they're marked unstable - it's nice to have even more options for bigger worlds. A welcome addition to the mod list.
