Maybe try a different base? The stripes are barely present on some weapons

@Simply Your approach looks better thanks to the custom coding (although I stand by my choice of metal hues), but we all know how Valve treats that. I specifically didn't check to see if anyone else had done this idea before so as not to base my version on someone else's. If I could pick which one should be in the game, I'd go with yours because of the stripe pattern location alone. But with Valve's approach, I'll just hope my simpler option makes it into the game as a collective win for both of us.

@Shiro The yellow uses Australium Gold as a base, with weathering effects making it darker and less saturated. The main difference is that unlike most things you'd normally see coated in Australium Gold, it's rather reflective. In the harsh light of the inventory preview, it looks brighter than it really is; the in-game screenshots give a better idea of what it looks like in practice.
