You see, you have to have a very high IQ to understand the deep lore implications of the Half-Life 2 Beta. The Valve developers were aiming for a deeply dark, gritty dystopia featuring such things as the Air Exchange, Manhack Arcade, and the true epic gangnam style version of Dr. Breen, the "Consul". In my honest opinion, it is far more interesting than the retail version of the game and I wish valve spent 100 years locked away in my basement developing it while I threaten to slam all of them into hell like when The Undertaker threw Mankind off hell in a cell and plummeted sixteen feet through an announcer's table.
