This mod could be changed to and configuration and its not hard. Theres just a lot of blocks and it takes a long time. Specially if you have to pull them from the base game because keen has them all mixed up. Search armor expanded in the workshop, theres others including a ceramic but this one has ceramic to but this is also for weapons core.

I've needed an armor mod for a while, too much mass, too little armor. If you still need testing, please let me know and I'll make it happen. Vanilla armor is just...clunky hunks of steel. Was hoping for an "advanced" variety of armor similar to real world ceramic armor (5x the armor of rolled steel per kg). Needing 3 layers of heavy armor just to stop one rail-gun round is just to much. When you can chew through LG heavy armor blocks in a few seconds with a gat on a small grid fighter...yeah, about that Keen engineering.

I could really use some feed back about the balance of this mod. If everybody is happy with the balance and the strength of the blocks then i can finish it and add the small grid and armor panels.

I have small grid, armor panels and custom icons in the works, i did not retexture the blocks at first because you can change the skin and color ingame. I will look into adding some cool textures to the models to tell the tiers apart. Are you enjoying the mod, how is the balance between the tiers? I'm thinking about also adding an ultimate or advanced tier that takes all 3 tech components and is super strong.

can this armor plates/block be textured to look more advanced like blue hexagonal energy fueld barrier on top tier armor please?
