Suggestion:
Have the center continent a little larger, with starting positions a little farther away.
And make the 2 other islands a little smaller.

That's true.
I think the navy is weak in the early game on this map, so I will try to generate shallow water tiles around start.

There is a lack of shallow water around the starting continent, making navigation difficult.
