There will be no change. There will be no advancement. There will be no input worth the change. The game offers a test of endurance and you oblige for the sheer, human essence of persistence. You strive to continue through the malaise of this mid-game under the hope - nay, the knowledge, the learned understanding - that there is a *midgame*, there must be a midgame.
