Really? I am pretty sure i've seen that kind of design principle in quite a few scifi things ... but can't quite put my finger on it at the moment to be honest.

And yes, it is a quite terrible little ship, but that's kindaaaa by design ... or rather i cared about the performance about as much as the manufacturer ... which is me i guess xD

Now that's something I've never seen in scifi fiction for ship designs, a ww2 inspired design of slapping two planes together and calling it a day. I love this dinky little thing, though to use it would probably be as the description says best, sluggish.
