It's something I've been trying to implement

But Halo 2's mod tools are somewhat ... limited

If I touch or modify the assets too much, they may not work in MCC or crash constantly

Giving the chief a voice as if it were a combine is something I can do since it doesn't have much dialogue, but it would take me months to do that just with the time I have now :/

Even so, I'm glad you liked the mod and if I ever have time, maybe there will be a Halo 3 Combine Edition!

Loving the mod so far seeing my favourite sci-fi franchise invading my other favourite sci-fi franchise! Do you plan in giving Johnson and Keyes more Combine-esc uniform? Perhaps making Master Chief sound like an Elite Combine in cutscenes... or maybe even Unit 3650? <3

Here’s some ideas for potential improvements:

1. Make Johnson a Elite Metro Cop
2. Make Miranda a Combine Assassin
3. Give the Combine Soldiers (Chief and Combine allies) the actual Combine Soldier footstep sounds from HL2 (if Possible)
4. Give Chief’s voice the combine soldier filter (ai voice perhaps?)

Overall I enjoyed the mod a lot. Hope to see more eg Halo 3 Combine edition.

So the half life 2 npc tag got updated so maybe you could replace flood zombies with the zombie tag of nexus mods and also add other stuff like the striders and zombine

Dude you need to turn down the damage multipliers a bit. It gets a bit ridiculous at times.

So does this make all non-flood enemies combine adjacent? So playing as the arbiter means fighting combine (marines)?

since this is the last maps added, i think i know what weapons you could replace for a replacer, magnum with the usp, smg with the smg1, assault rifle with the ar2, battle rifle with a smg pulse rifle of half life alyx, Missile launcher with the rocket launcher, sniper with the combine sniper, shotgun with spas-12

hey, someone uploaded half life 2 props into halo (im talking about halo 3) but still they have physics, the creator shabzy118 is uploading alot of half life 2 stuff into halo 3

Thanks, in the first version of Nova Prospekt the covenant synths were present, but I changed them for cremators, I'm thinking about how to re-incorporate them without unbalancing the combats or crashing the map

I'm still working on solving bugs in some maps but when I finish that I will release the new maps since I have them almost finished!

Every update this keep getting better.
But it needs a combine synth version of covenant aliens to make it perfect, since they would be synth a few changes of how their AI is would fit including making grunts and jackals of the combine dont have any fear system

There was a problem with the tags, some were corrupted and now some maps are crashing

I will revert to a stable version and when I can I will solve all those problems

Between this mod and HL2’s 20th anniversary update that adds workshop support to the game, it’s a very good time to be a Half Life fan right now.

@Hexamethylenediamine Actually there is..the AR3 was a prototype the combine were developing but it never got finished so it never actually existed but it is cannon lore to half-life so the AR3 is a thing just a none manifestation

Kind of wish the battle rifle viewmodel wasn't so off, I would actually stop handicapping myself by not picking it up.
