Also infinite stuff generally is forced to be high res, like they're split up into multiple materials in the game that I've combined into a single texture to save on space. If I were to compress the infinite guns into like, 2048x2048 for example, there would absolutely be a noticable downgrade

Oh you're right some stuff was way higher res than it needed to be, like the M6D2 that I forgot to compress.

I've compressed them and now the materials are 3gb compared to the 4gb something it used to be before.

Also admittedly the only reason why the unsc and covenant packs are dependencies because I source some materials from them, notably crosshairs and what not. I never really saw it as a problem since I assumed many people would be subscribed to them anyways

Not to be a total downer, but this mod and its dependencies totaling up to around 7gbs is absolutely absurd. I do not care about high res textures, like at all, don't see the point. Not gonna pretend that addon making is easy and "just compress it" but there needs to be some kind of lite alternative. This addon (and more specifically the new materials dependency) now causes freezes and crashes for my (admittedly heavyweight) modpack that didn't exist before.

I think Valk may have forgotten to un-private the textures addon after uploading it, I let him know on Discord but he's offline at the moment.

I would do a part 1 and part 2 and if u need to, part 3 and them make them dependent on each other :D

I added commandos and hit a file size limit for workshop addons. So I had to split the materials into a separate addon lol. Idk how I'm going to add more stuff in the future unless I split the materials up into more addons

The BR35 variant consumes double what its capacity is when reloading (i.e. it takes 72 rounds from reserve and only has 36 in the mag per reload) idk if its some kind of addon conflict, but it seems that it calls for some kind of reload function twice and the other rifles don't have this issue.

For some reason everytime I shoot any of the sweps, it says that Draconic base is creating errors, however all the required mods are installed, and I've unistalled them and reinstalled them to see if it will fix it, and it does not. Not sure if that's a common issue or not

I also removed the extra battle rifles, like the holographic sight one and iron sight one just to remove bloat. The bodygroups are sitll there so you can recreate them if you really want them

You have an outdated version of the Draconic Base installed, the lines erroring do no match with the current version.

Upon firing most of the included weapons, I get the following error:

This aside, I love what you've created! These have great visual polish to them (I especially like the sights as they're all distinct & even warp a little along the edges), and while the automatic accuracy isn't the best, it fits Halo's mechanics. Seeing the "MEGA-CLASS" text on the MC40 Luger reminded me a bit of the upcoming Treasure Tech Land too, it's a very cool original design.

No firing sounds on some BR models, on others no reload sound, all what you hear is falling casing on the ground, BRs definitely not finished yet.

problem report: The battle rifles have a weird reload where when you reload, it removes 36 from your reserve, but then removes the amount you fired from the reserve (so like, on an empty mag, and you reload, it takes 36, then another 36, so 108 becomes 36 with just one reload)

This is a very promising remake! When will assault rifles be added? And when they are, will the MA40 have 36 rounds or will it be 32 like the original Rebirth mod?

I noticed one thing about the M6D.

While yes, the error is now gone on my end, I noticed that the M6D has a set in stone, static accuracy that is rather inaccurate EVEN ON SINGLE SHOTS.

This is a SEVERE flaw, because the M6D's ENTIRE gimmick is that it rewards accuracy with high damage that will take down an enemy of equal standing in 3 or less headshots.

Take that away and the M6D has nothing.

(Also, the view kick on some of the Magnums could be cut down, and the M6C shouldn't kick THAT hard, as its the weakest of the M6-series sidearms we got to use.)
