@SolRascal Can you link me to the source mods you use for 8-players to combat against the players spawning at saferooms upon joining? I am also a 8-player hoster

this happens on my 8 player server also. i do not know the cause of it but sourceMod helped me out with that. for the base game i just make sure all my friends join first.

whenever someone joins my game, they usually spawn alive at the the starting saferoom. Even when im near the end saferoom. whats odd is sometimes theyll spawn near me but not usually.

But not impossible to solve, this mod works fine on L4D1 character levels:

It is a mutation, and all the other mutations I tested have this same issue. But I want a script just like yours

In levels with the L4D1 characters the game crashes and displays this message: "info_transitioning_player: UTIL_SetModel: not precached: models/survivors/survivor_coach.mdl". I was playing with Francis, but when I changed to Zoey it appeared Rochelle instead of Coach

i tried doing something like that but only unless Ur using sourceMod there's no way to add bots without going against the director.

could u try making one where if somebody joins your game, a bot spawns in and automatically makes the player take control of it, and when they leave the bot gets kicked?
