Perhaps it is worth doing not an animation, but swapping the model and trigger in the animation that is. Subjectively and without "slow-mo", it may look like the right animation, it seems to me, since the "cartridge case" feels like it flies above the "machine gun belt". (There may be errors in the construction of the message, but I hope the meaning is clear)
